Sharingan inherits and evolves( not necessarily in a positive way) from the Rinnegan.

Here are examples: It's clear that Tsukuyomi and Koto Amatsukami came from the body controlling chakra rods. Amateratsu came from Rinbo Hengoku since they function very similarly despite the latter being far more powerful and Amateratsu also from one of the Rinnegan's nature ability: fire. Susanoo probably evolved from a combination of Preta path and more heavily, the Asura path, giving rise to superb defense abilities, capable of defending against strong taijutsu and ninjutsu. Susanoo's possession of multiple arms is very similar to Asura Path's, further giving credence to the idea of Susanoo evolving from Asura abilities. Next, we already know that Izangi came from COAT, most likely another Rinnegan ability.

This begs the question:

Where did Kamui come from? Kamui is completely space time. Sure, one of them it is a eye focusing technique so it is somewhat derived from RH, but where did the space time component come from? The Rinnegan so far has shown absolutely no spacetime techs.

I strongly suspect that the Rinnegan has some sort of space time technique that Kishi hasn't revealed yet. I sincerely doubt that Kishi would just leave Kamui as the sole outlier against the pattern of inheritance. Kamui must have evolved from some space time ability that the Rinnegan possesses.

Rinnegan is already too much OP with space time nin, it will be super OP. So, no.

You are trying to connect dots that aren't there. Just read the passage and don't infer anything beyond it. It means what it means.

Then where did Obito's space time abilities come from?

as we all know, MS/EMS gives you personal unique abilities for your own.
while Rinnegan gives you the 6 paths... which by other means gives every Rinnegan user the same certain new jutsus.
BUT -> Madara might have new jutsus up his sleeve since he actually uses his own original Rinnegan... which is not only implanted into his eye socket such as Nagato/Obito had!

FTG is also space time jutsu...

It dosent need even sharingan,,,, I guess this should clear my point,,,

From the place Tsukuyomi's time manipulation comes from.:p
In other words, Kamui gives you an ability to make your own 'dimension', so it is nothing but effect of Yin-Yang of Rinnegan.:yeah:

the sharingan has always been able to manipulate reality.

izanagi is space time

tsukoyomi is time

basic function of sharingan (jedi reflexes) is time manipulation

on a different note, you said that the sharingan EVOLVED from the rinnegan. this suggests a significant change over a period of 1000 or so years. techniques can be picked up and adopted, presumably, during that change. so just because the sharingan has ST tech, doesnt mean the rinnegan has.

The irony of this statement is staggering. The first paragraph of your OP is exactly that. xd

Omg I can't believe nobody knew this =_= you either couldn't be bothered posting the actual answer or you don't know anything about General relativity. :dafq: Which everyone should know!11!

Kamui manipulates space-time hence it makes sense that it would be within the realm of Tendo or the Deva path. The Deva path manipulates gravity, to do that you need to manipulate, you guessed it boys and girls, space-time, more specifically how space-time curves in certain instances. If space time "stretches" or its "density" decreases objects would be repelled in an anti-gravity like fashion like Shinra Tensei, Basho Tenin however increases space-time density around a user pulling an object or victim in. Hengoku likely creates an anti-gravity effect at the location the users eye-sight lands.

The fact that Madara demonstrates attacking at a distance using gravity attacks shows that it is in fact space-time manipulation not Mass manipulation, as it would be limited to wide area attacks around his body, his new jutsu demonstrated a kamui like ability to manipulate space-time at a distance proving that the Deva path manipulates space-time specifically.

kamui itself produces micro-wormholes, and uses space folding....so honestly techniques like shinra tensei and the like are like bludgeoning clubs where as kamui is like a scalpel (as it has to literally cut space-time to do what it does), I would also consider if Obito can use such advanced space folding techniques can he neutralize the Deva path?

Preta Path.

The Rinnegan can likely normalize space-time as well and a weaker user would be helpless against the technique. IE Kakashi's chakra would have to overpower Madara's which aint going to happen. =_= I'm not entirely sure Petra path could absorb kamui, as we don't know how the effect is produced.

Is the chakra driving the technique all the way along, and within the wormhole or are all the chakra processes concealed within the eye? In the previous case yes Petra path would stop it, in the latter no only the Deva path could stop that.

Interesting analysis of Deva abilities. I understand what you mean in regards to General Relativity. I just think there should be more similarity than just manipulation of space.

At the very least, the Rinnegan should display some form of teleportation ability.

Having Kamui cut space time and Rinnegan only bend space time is just too far of a difference in ability, even if the Sharingan evolves positively in the focal aspect of space manipulation, the difference should not be that pronounced.

Chakra is driving the technique all way along, hence why the Kamui starts absorbing you at the end of that "wormhole" which means it doesn't matter if you're right next to the eye or a meter away it has the same impact. The jutsu doesn't work if the chakra doesn't reach / help. Besides, Preta Path absorbs ninjutsu not only chakra. So it doesn't really matter.

Of Course Rinnegan has some kind of SpaceTime ability.

Considering that Mystery over Yin-Yang release resulting in Creation of all things and other stuff as possible Space Time wrapping ability...

It is possible that RInnegan also has Space Time technique.
