"Hinata had much better development than Sakura."
No. Mathematically, this it utterly false. Sakura is featured about 10x more than Hinata. You can like Hinata more. You can personally think that she is better. But saying she is more developed as a character is untrue.
False, development does not depend on quantity, development is considered by quality. Hinata's development was handled
much better than Sakura's, but as I said, you'll continue to stay in denial.
"Being a Parallel of character does not make them extremely similar. Look at the difference between kid kakashi and Sasuke."
Do I really need to point out why this sounds retarded? Do you know what parallel means?
I don't think you understand what extremely similar is. Parallels are characters that play similar roles in a certain dynamic, may it be in a team, a community, a love triangle etc. Orochimaru and Sasuke are parallels as well, I suppose this also makes them extremely similar. Even with kakashi and Sasuke the only major similarities they had was their arrogance.
It's actually laughable that you think the similarities between Sakura and Rin are outstanding, seeing as Ino is
much more like sakura than Rin is.
"Passive aggressive jabs are foolish and just prove how biased you are"
If I made a jab at anything it was the NB community for having fetishes for underdeveloped female characters with no flaws except they love someone too much. Possibly Kishi as well but it's no secret I think he's a blatantly sexist author.
This simply further proves your bias, your spite towards other characters such as Hinata makes you blindly underrate her very nicely handled development because you feel that you're fandom is superior. Which is quite sad seeing as Sakura's development has been lackluster
several times throughout the manga. On top of that, the opinion of fans carry no weight in a factual matter.
Lastly it has become apparent that you clearly have yet to grasp what character development is, seeing as you based your evaluation of Hinata's on her "perfect" personality, though it clearly is not. The blind ignorance in your evaluation is without doubt one of the most foolish things I've heard in a while here on NB.
Rin is a Sakura mirror. Deal with it. Yeah, they might have differences like "Rin likes spicy food" or something, but both characters are intended to be similar and fill the same role.
It's comical how you claimed I twisted you're words, yet you are gradually digressing from your original claim. I am surprised that even in your ignorance you managed to miss the fact that I have said several times that they are parallels and sustain many similarities. However this in no way makes them identical. I really don't understand why this discussion is continuing because the fact that they are not is so blatantly clear.
This is pretty much my point.
Say you have 2 people. With Person #1 all you see of them is snapshots of their life. Spending time with friends, a few highlights of things they said, just little snippets of their life.
Person #2 is a 3 hour long feature of the last 20 years of their life. You see their daily routine, their inner thoughts, their struggles, personal feelings and relationships. How they react in good and bad times, the good things they do, the bad things they do etc.
So, which person are you going to like more? The one you saw the few photos of spending time with friends and whatnot or the one who hated their job, went through a divorce and whatnot?
It's a logical fallacy. People do this all the time with comparing their lives to Facebook and magazines and things like that. It's the same effect.
Your logic would be accurate
if what we have seen of Rin so far wasn't purposefully and intentionally being controlled by the author to represent what Rin was to Obito. It is clear that throughout various parallels in occurrence, such as Rin and Obito's first meeting, Rin's speech to Obito, and her scene on the bench that Rin's character is not only far more unconditionally considerate, but also vastly more mature than sakura was at the corresponding ages. It also makes sure to highlight her motherly concern for obito and her gentle approach to reprimanding him, unlike Sakura's ignorant bursts of anger.
