Rikudou Sennin Maybe Got Rinnegan from Juubi

1. Rinnegan is able to control the Juubi/Gedo Mazo.

I'm pretty sure if Rikudou had Rinnegan from birth the Juubi wouldnt be called a god, since it would be tamed.

2. Sennin Mode - Rikudou is said to discover chakra, normally this would take place in nature. Would also explain how he is able to seal the Juubi in the moon after gaining Rinnegan (Since Rinnegan has great chakra draw)

3. A Jinchuuriki inherits traits from the Bijuu

Its shown with Kurama especially, how Naruto got his whiskers and the ability to sense negativity, same could apply to Rikudou gaining Rinnegan after sealing the Juubi.


The Rinnegan you could say is the "good side" or pure part of the Juubi's eye. I believe the Juubi's eye contains loads of powerful dojutsu, including Sharingan, and Byakugan's. Sharingan for the obvious reason of the 9-Tomoe standing out, now 7-Tomoe because its incomplete.

Byakugan activated is shown having arteries stand out at the eyes, Juubi has something similar but just black. Since the Juubi is since to be the origin of everything.

cause i think so far that madara AND obito are controlling the juubi which is why it has so many tomoes and because they both have rinnegan that its in the shape of the rinnegan as well. so i don't think that the sage got his eyes from the juubi. well thats what i've come up with anyway.

Great Theory, but how could the Sage possibly have stood up to the Juubi unless he had rinnegan before facing it?
I actually disagree with your first point, because I think he had rinnegan from birth, or he got it from a source other than the Juubi at a young age. Perhaps the Juubi hadn't been tamed because he wasn't ready to face it yet. Once he was prepared or whatever the case was, he faced the Juubi with his rinnegan and managed to defeat it.
I wouldn't exactly say he tamed it. I remember reading that the Juubi was still evil even when it was sealed inside of him. Kind of like Naruto and Kurama.

Whether he sealed the Juubi inside himself with High Level Fuinjutsu or Rinnegan is unknown. But after having the Juubi he sealed it with Rinnegan, perhaps Orochimaru will reveal this at a later time.
