Naruto's RSM by itself does not have that many tanking feats. Its mostly his healing which is so fast he recovers almost immediately. Like there, when he takes the sword off his gut and the wound it leaves behind is never mentioned again.

We never seen the blow directly though, We only see him seemingly getting hit before he comes out of the hole. Its more likely that it wasn't a direct hit and the damage done was healed fairly easily.

Thats sword was to huge to not be a direct hit also lets not forget the fact that after the attack we saw naruto coming out of the moon meaning the sword dragged him down towards.

Edit: Also if you take a look frame by frame at The last again you will see naruto getting hit by the sword.

I'm not discussing whether he was caught or not. He WAS caught. What is left uncertain is whether he was caught directly or by the blade's side. Like I said, there is also the possibility that he was hit on the side by the sword and avoided getting hit by its full power and dragged across the moon.
