I personally think that it is the jutsu used by nagato when he first fought Hanzo of the Salamander... the black Madara said was used to connect on the back of Nagato...then he release a Dragon-like apparition and suck all the souls of his enemy...Madara said that use that pole when you use Rikudou no jutsu, I think that the Rikudou no jutsu is this Dragon-like apparition that sucks the soul of the enemy...
