Not easily. To use rasengan easily you have to have been training in it for many years. But anyway, let's go on.
No, while maintaining the power, shape, and spiraling of the rasengan, attempt to start to add wind chakra in it. Do this slowly, if you go too quickly, you'll lose control of the rasengan itself.

Shadow clones will probably be best. You have to maintain several things. So make one or two shadow clones. You yourself will be maintaining the power, another will be maintaining the spiral, and the last will imbue the wind chakra.

Well, even Naruto uses clones with it, even in Sage Mode. And he's the one who made the jutsu. But in battle, no one's going to argue saying you didn't use clones. =/ But in training, yeah, the smartest thing would be to use clones.

Remember, you have to balance everything out. You can't overload anything, you can't even make it spiral too quickly. Just take more time to perfect the rasengan. Don't rush with this, it's a tough jutsu.

Remember when you did chidori? The same thing happened now that happened back then. You have to keep focusing the chakra as your thrusting. Most people get caught up in the action, think of the rasengan itself.
