Alright... so we're at the fifth C ranked earth jutsu.
(Doton: Iwa Yado Kuzushi) - Earth Style: Stone Lodging Destruction
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Descripton: This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside.
Alright, this is simple enough. *points to a nearby cave*
Make the appropriate hand seal and focus your chakra on the roof of that cave. Your goal here is to basically make the cave's roof crumble in on itself. A good way to do this is to, after focusing the chakra on the roof of the cave, compress that chakra on itself, thereby breaking the rocks loose.
Btw, by the "appropriate hand seal" I mean the "Serpent" seal. It's probably the most stable earth seal:
Yes I've been taught that the Serpent or Snake seals is the most common sign for earth or earth based jutsu well most of them.
*Performs the set of handsigns ending with the Serpent Seal and then focus chakra towards the roof of the cave suppressing a portion of the roof which leaves a crack on the roof and the roof eventually crumples down*

*the roof starts to crumple, but then only a few rocks fall, rocks that were already loosened*
Stay in a more stable position. The more stable your position is, the more powerful your jutsu will be and the more control you'll have over it, in terms of earth jutsu anyway. When I was learning Earth, the guy who taught me most of it (Goro) told me to use the "Power Stance" when using an Earth jutsu. Spread your legs out further, about shoulders-length apart. and squat a bit. Try it again but use this stance, not only is it stable, but it's focused. Earth jutsu are to be direct and, generally, very focused, not wild or loose like the other elements.
*Spreads leg slightly apart and squatting down a little to get firm grip while performing the handsign and focusing chakra towards the roof of the cave. Again suppressing a portion of the roof of the cave creating a gap in the roof which eventually crumples down*

*the roof crumples almost completely, leaving stones and rubble in the now-destroyed cave*
Good... good... The jutsu will be more complete as your chakra develops and you're able to spread it around more. (This is a pretty simple jutsu so I'll let you learn it a bit quicker, though most others will be like three posts at least lol.)
Ok, I'm going to go out of order a bit since the jutsu that should be next requires the jutsu after that to perform (you'll see what I mean).
(Doton: Doryu Taiga) - Earth Style: Great Mud River
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This jutsu can transform the ground upon which the enemy stands into a river of mud to throw them off balance.
Alright, focus your chakra in the ground and morph the area in front of you from earth into mud. I don't really know how to explain how to do this one very well to be perfectly honest lol. You're basically imbuing your earth chakra into the ground and then altering the earth to attain the qualities of mud (softer, liquid, etc.) until it actually becomes mud.
*small spots of earth appear at various areas on the ground*
You altered it correctly for the most part, but you have to focus your chakra deeper into the ground; its a river, so it should cover more than just the surface. Btw, you won't really need the power stance for this particular jutsu, considering that mud-related jutsu obviously have different qualities than normal Earth jutsu.
