I don't care what they said. Drake never came out and said he have a ghostwriter or Miller never said he wrote all of Drake's lyrics. Point blank period.

Hearsay = rumors; it's not fact until it is confirmed from the actual source.

So what about the weeknd who said he made over half of take care he came out en said it

And pretty sure miller said he help him and if you listen to miller i can tell you dont he sound like drake some of the songs drake put out miller did first fact

Edit again and when meek said he use a ghost writer he said that comes what greatness thats like saying yea i do i still didnt believe it and till diddy bought the proof you talking about

He not signed with wayne tho .... Not even in cash money anymore

For real..? How you know?

I don't hate drake. I don't like when he sings, because he can't. He's a good rapper though, and I'd like to hear more of his non-ghostwritten raps.

Yeah, but none of that to say Drake isn't a good rapper. Drake is a good rapper, top 15 of this new era.

Ohhhh, now the nigga can't sing now.

Shhh this is the same dude who argued Drake would always be bigger and better than Kendrick. Let him be in his cold corner.

Lol. With the laughable reasoning you consistently present... Good move. Fortunately, my supporting cast isn't bound to NB; so I can always actually log off this site, and enjoy a sensible discussion on the topic(s) elsewhere. I understand we don't all have that luxury.

I've literally always said that. Drake is a horrible singer. If he could not rap do you think he'd have a career in singing? Hell no.

Uh, okay...? So not being commercially successful in singing equates to being a horrible singer. Gotcha'. On separate note, didn't you state somewhere in this thread, that Drakes closest album to a classic is Take Care..? - The album that he sings the most in, by far. How does your statement that "Drake is a horrible singer" correlate with this one?

skuhh?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Smh, lame. At least we know that last line was aimed at Birdman, and not Wayne.

Where did you get commercial success from having a career? There are thousands of career singers that don't have commercial success like Drake. At best he could sing in some church choir because that's all his actual voice can achieve. Anything beyond that and it's a stretch.

Because people like him regardless of his actual abilities; he's a pop star.

Thought that was what you were implying. So not having a career in singing automatically equates to being a horrible singer. Do you not see how this is faulty logic? Why don't you provide actual evidence displaying his horrible singing, in order to back up your opinion, rather then stating baseless nonsense.

So, many people like him, because he is a horrible singer and an okay rapper. Not a valid answer to my question, but alright. Also, what is your definition of a pop star? Someone that appeals to the masses?

Yes, because that's literally a pop star. The industry pushes them and force feeds them to the masses for maximum exposure. He's the male counterpart of Nicki Minaj, as I've said several times. She's not really a great rapper(She has some good verses/songs) and has ghostwriters. However, her core following will come to her defense on anything even going as far as to say SB didn't ghostwrite/write her bars.

Yeah true on flow. I wouldn't call presentation a category because regardless of how Drake presents himself, his fans will funnel his **** into their mouths. Like his first diss track to meek was hot trash, and they still acted like fools on twitter/IG.

Im a drake fan but its true. Drake fans will devour most artist out. KD will wreck Drake and drake cherishs his career so....

Charged Up was a warning/prelude to Meek.

That's what I'm saying. I don't think I've ever heard a Ross track where he flowed so hard. Surprised me.

Because it was a warning/prelude it's okay that it was hot trash? Haha,

Lmao, alright, that sounded pretty bad. I suppose he is not a great live singer, but he can hit some notes.

You can listen throughout the whole thing, or specifically @2:20-2:50.

He is still able to make good sounding music with singing alone, so I still don't see how one could claim he is a horrible singer. He has a voice.

I can agree to an extent, but I feel the whole notion is being currently exaggerated solely because of 'Hotline Bling'. That shouldn't warrant him as a full-fledged pop star, and take away any of his credibility in hip-hop. How he handled his beef with Meek Mill, that isn't a pop star. Anyways, we've gone off topic. I am a big Rick Ross fan, and I don't think he's hanging with Drake lyrically.
