[Review] - Chapter 664 - I'm his father, after all.

Hello peeps, so this is my first review so spare with me! xD

I'm His Father After All

I will divide this into two parts:

Good points:

• Team Gai got panel time.
• Black Zetsu got Yin Kurama.
• Kishi built up tension with the mysterious figure..and gave us a hint that he apparently has 'evil' chakra.
• Naruto didn't get Yin Kurama, which we expected.
• Madara finally showed up near Minato, Kakashi and others.

Bad points:

• Madara spat out the Rikudou's Ninja tools like they were nothing..that was totally a stupid plot device.
• Apparently Black Zetsu's faster than the fastest shinobi.
• Unnecessary flashbacks of Minato..yes, I understand it might be due to Kishi's father passing away, but imo it was not needed at this time of the war.

On the whole, it was a pretty decent chapter, not as good as the previous one. Kishi needs to speed up a bit, as this chapter was pretty slow. I don't know what Kishi has planned, and I'm still keeping my hopes with this manga. Overall, I think, if we read the chapters together in volumes, we wouldn't be such a critic to Kishi. The fact that we wait for a week and get an ok/decent chapter, just makes us impatient and pissed, but well, Kishi is known to follow up with good chapters again. I like how he showed the despair of SA, as finally it feels like a war with people going into despair and major characters almost on the brink of death. Madara being defeated with the Ninja tools would be a better plot device than being defeated with the friendship bs. I rate it 3.5/5 . ​
