Not just this chapter, Kaguya just seems like a gimicky non-serious end game boss.

Personally I think she is better then Madara and she has been serious in most of the chapters. As for gimmicky end of game boss yeah sort of.

I find it funny that people expect the rest of the manga to be completely serious and yet forget the manga's roots.

EDIT: I hate to be that person, but the butthurt did occur this week like all weeks.

No no no. There's a difference between keeping to a story's roots and using humor, and regression that ruins the mood.
Kishi has done humorous things in this war arc, like Minato's absurd naming, Tobirama's way of telling people to shut up(it became a meme), or Naruto's reaction to Kurama throwing Kakashi at Obito.
Kishi could have also kept to the roots by having Naruto due to a suped-up badass newer version of Uzamki Barrage.

But no. He went with naked men and jokes from a half of Naruto that does not fit this half's progression or theme.

none of those instance was funny. it's not the naked men that was funny it is the application and the situation. you take this manga too serious

Can someone please help me understand how naruto pulling off that Reverse Harem Jutsu, being funny?
I couldn't help but cringe a little bit, because it felt so misplaced given how Kishi set up this fight to seem. What people aren't understanding is that the author set up the final battle and much of this war to be kinda dark, on a bigger scale, etc. It doesn't really go along with thematic, and higher important of the characters vs the enemy. So what's funny about him pulling a technique being a bunch of naked duded? Fam, I'm confused

P.S: Don't get this wrong, I'm NOT against humor, I love it when it's GOOD. It has it's place, but this was just......UGH.

The biggest problem is that the chapters are to short, the result being gag's like this become the center piece. And if you want to complain about the chapter there are at least three other threads doing that.

Not funny to me tbh. But it did make perfect sense, BZ said like 2 pages before he used it that she could absorb any jutsu, so using a diversion like that instead of some new jutsu made sense
