There was tension in the air. Naruto, being exhausted from the genjutsu, felt his team’s chakra disturbed. He could only watch the fiery battle between the two akatsuki members.
:itachi:: Leader Sama…I would never betray you but its time you realize that you are the one being misled…U_U

With that, the Amaterasu got saturated by the gravity. With a Chakra Disruption Blade in hand, Pein charged towards Itachi and stabbed him through his heart.
All Pein could see next was a murder of crows around him. Taking Pein’s distraction, Itachi attacked him from behind a bush with his kunai only to be pushed away by gravity. Pein grabbed Itachi by his collar and raised him face to face.
Suddenly, Itachi pierced his own stomach through Pein’s Chakra Disruption Blade and held the other side thereby holding him in place
:naruto:: Itachi! What are you doing?!Damn it!!
:itachi::*smirk*Now!!
And from the nearby bush hopped Kakashi with a chidori .Pein was victorious as he pushed Kakashi away.
:itachi::*1…2….*
And before Pein could muster up enough chakra, Sakura followed by Tsunade, struck a powerful punch with Chakra Enhanced Strength right on Pein’s head. The impact caused crimson blood from Pein’s wounds smear on Itachi’s face.
:itachi::*smirk*did you actually believe I was playing hide and seek? You were too preoccupied with my clone after the Amaterasu that you didn’t see me hop behind the bush…
FLASHBACK
:kakashi:: Seems like he didn’t notice us using the replacements. We don’t have much time...

And with that both Sharingan wielders looked at each other. No words were spoken but Kakashi perfectly understood the prodigy’s desperation. After what seemed like eternity, Kakashi agreed. With that Itachi was about to get back in battle when a hand held his arm. Turning back, he met Sakura.Emerald eyes met coal black.
:sakura:: Itachi….why?!I don’t understand….you….
:itachi:: Forgive me…..maybe next time…
Those words!Why did those words seem so familiar to her?Why did see feel a warmth.Why is she trusting Itachi Uchiha?!The one who ruined Sasuke's life.What was Kakashi and Naruto hiding from her?.When see looked back into the black orbs,she couldn't help but trust its owner.
:sakura:: Then ….good luck….Itachi san...
With a genuine smile and a nod of his head, Uchiha Itachi hopped out to bring his plan into action.

And all Itachi could hear was someone screaming his name till darkness surrounded him…
