:| seriously how can people fight, kill, camp, starve, over a shoe :|

in my hometown people drove cars through the double doors through the mall, like seriously?? someone even got shot :| and it is not just in hometown, it is all over the united states. shoes(an object) shouldn't have such an effect on people! this women left her two babies,( as in not young enough to watch themselves), in the car while she waited in an enormous line for shoes.. this epidemic is bigger than mw3.. people are getting shot :|

proof:

what is everyone's opinion on this?

Stuff like this is ridiculous. People who have shoes that are just fine are going wild over these because they're popular. Let's just pack the shoes in boxes and ship them out to kids in other countries with no shoes. The riots would stop for a little while and I bet any barefoot walking kid would be THRILLED to have shoes, even if they were freaking strips of leather sewn together by an amateur.

They're shoes, America. The purpose of shoes was to protect your feet originally. Let's keep it like that and not let their purpose transfer to, "OH, HEY MAN, I GOTTA GET ME SOME OF THEM 'FOR I START LOOKIN' LAME AS F-CKKK." or whatever makes people act like selfish idiots.
