I like the suggestions.

However there is one thing I want you to look into. We can make infinite amount of threads but when you look into the threads you have made, you only have a 4page quota meaning many of our threads are lost and you then need to start searching the section the thread was initialy located. Most of the training threads are created by the trainee and if their thread is not eventually lost due to the small space given, I think finding their thread would be much more easier when they hit the "view your threads" link. As for me, I could not find most of my old training threads even as I was the one who made them unless I start rummaging through TG.
You can subscribe to the threads you made/threads you replied on, but there's a limit to it too, I think. That's how I find out if my sensei has replied or not.

Also, you should use time periods for your search if you get more than 100 possible hits in your search. Instead of searching for threads from all time, search for threads from X month of Y year to W month of Y year for example. Its a bit tricky to use the search button at times but it does the work if you fiddle with it enough.

Also, I think there should be a rule or at least a verbal agreement between all teachers that each member should only have one thread to train one give element. I've seen people with 4 or 5 threads for Katon training. That is unnecessary and occupies more space and hinders the organization side of things. Though this is something more up to the senseis. This and thread naming though that will be resolved partially with the prefixes.

Also, good morning
Yes i think so too, when i was still training under the basics long ago i had about 3 threads for fire training only as my sempai preferred to have thier own new thread, rather than using the old thread my former teacher taught me in.

That will be helpful. As I had to repeatedly do my Wind training, and every time I found a teacher I would have to make a thread, 3 posts later, sensei stops teaching me. Then next teacher does the same. So now when I need proof of my training, so hard cause it's scattered everywhere with different names and such.

So in short, would this be an exception to the 1-month threat expiry rule?

Don't know if this is the place for it, but have you ever considered adding a statistic feature to bio's. You know like the databooks, it wouldn't be that hard to implement. I would gladly help with it. I mean a core problem in the RP is people overestimating themselves. They all have the same power in ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, speed, strength. Blah.
Why not make stats and change the style completely to cut down on arguements.

Example would be.

Ninjutsu: 7
Taijutsu: 4
Genjutsu: 7
Speed: 5
Stamina: 4

Out of 10, and you could give buffs according on levels of stat. Such as having 7 ninjutsu could provide a +10 damage bonus to all ninjutsu. Same for genjutsu, but if someone with 7 taijutsu and speed was to fight this person and get in close they would have an advantage.
You could also have a sort of talent tree i guess, where certain abilities are unlocked only at certain ranks. Like having 7+ in speed grants body flicker, 7+ in ninjutsu required for forbidden rank elemental techniques.
It would need a lot of work i know but if enough people helped it could be done quickly and honestly it would prevent so many arguments and literally stop people feeling the need to try and slip "OP" customs past mods, or take advantage of loopholes.
Currently like i said everyone is equally powerful pretty much when it comes to canon techniques unless you have a test bio like myself and some others. Which in my opinion creates a sort of heightened desire to get overpowered customs by whatever means.

This system would give everyone a chance to truly customize their character to tailor there exact strength and stats. Applying the stats to canon bios is even easier.
Databook gives them a rating between one and five in each stat. Just change it to 1-10
For example, Itachi genjutsu is a 5, so on here it would be a ten, his stamina is... 3 i think. So 6 stamina on here.

You could give people set skill points depending on posting rank, or make an entirely new system of ranking people. Maybe a mission based system or whatever.

Even though I think it has never been said, I think no RP mod has ever punished or bothered much with people bumping their old training threads. Unless someone not involved in the training did it with a spam post.

Not a bad idea, but shouldn't the whole RP be changed if you eant to implement something like that. I think that doesn' suit our RP, we would have to change sooo many rules , and pretty much revamp the RP.

Not really. Like i said it's actually super simple to implement. It would essentially just revamp the speed chart and chakra health levels. The rest would add on to currently existing stuff, and some basic moves would be edited like body flicker.

What has been done so far:

- Battle Tests subsection moved to the Battle Arena.

- Biography Rules subsection renamed Special Bio & Ability Rules

- Special Bio & Ability Rules subsection moved to the RPG Biographies section

- RP Rules, Info & Questions section has been removed

- RPG Biographies section, after a bloody revolution, became an independent country section under KT and above the BA.

- RP Questions and RP updates threads have been moved & stickied in Konoha Town

- The two elemental info threads have been moved to the Naruto Training Grounds for the moment. This might change depending on what the other RP mods think is the best place to put them.

- Custom Clan Submission thread has been moved to the Jutsu section (see Lili, I did something :T_T:)

But... nothing has changed :| The forums are still in their normal places

I don't think the training separations and prefixes are needed. I mean let's be honest I have students who try and bold their titles in the training threads. I've had more than one student post the thread in the NW rather than the training forum. I mean if your intention is to make it look nice I get it but if it's to organize I think it will cause more problems than fix any. Students will make their thread prefix Doton then want to change their mind. Now your training raiton in a doton thread. Just my opinion tho, everything else seems fine.

S/n it's going to take a while to get use to this xD

XD Thanks Roooeee. But I understood your point, and it would benefit you more than it would "slightly bother me". It is also the reason why I was unsure if Konoha town should have the Announcement thread, since most of the changes are in the Jutsu Lists / Rules, so it made sense having the thread close by for mods to have quick access.

I can see the changes now.
Are the Training Grounds prefixes going to be added?
Not yet, that might take a while as you already heard people in this thread: Scorps wants to have one custom thread for each CSC, other people want to have the same for their regular training threads etc. Some guidelines will have to be made, which is Vincent's job. It's best to do them both once rather than adding first prefixes and have people just mess around with them.

...you're not supposed to train in the NW. That's one major issue, I can still understand if a custom skill was trained there, however canon training always has been and should be done in the TG and not in the NW. Such trainings are not even legit and wrong as no sensei has access to all the villages and NW main forum by default is not meant for training.

You're also contradicting yourself. If your students add themselves 'Doton' and then change their training midway, what difference is there then when they do it with prefixes? None. So even in the worst case, it's impossible to become even worse than it is right now. When people are forced to use prefixes (which can be done physically as in the OP, FT etc. sections), they might be less inclined to change midway their trainings, even more so if a rule is added that they can't train anything else than that specific skill. Also it's not only them that have to find those threads, but also all the mods, sensei and pretty much any member if he or she has doubts about a certain person having learned something.

I will add the link to my reading list, like the Quick Access thread...approved CE thread...Kiyoshi clan hideout...Kage summit...

It's... It's beautiful. •-•

Much thanks.

I gotta say, I love the changes. But, we didn't get a sub-section for non-NV RP in the KT section. o_O
It's still coming...oh my, that sounds porno-ish >.>

Note on what better has said. And this applies to everyone. Any cannon training not done in the training ground is void. this includes any already done as it has never been allowed.
