[Suggestion] Request to make the forum to be liberal discussions

Narutobase is one of the few sites that doesn't allow multiverse discussion in their main forum. Narutoforum is much more open minded in this regard. Even Comicvine freely allows manga and anime related threads

As the manga is over, the site's can remain active if multiverse topics are allowed in the forum. Naruto can be made mandatory topic to be included in every multiverse discussion. Otherwise the forums are full of same kind of threads (trolling, spamming, pairing, flaming etc.). Multiverse topics would make the members interested in Naruto more than ever, which would be required to participate in any debate. Members would also gain knowledge on other anime/manga.

Well, if you really want to discuss any other manga or anime , you can always make a thread about it in M.A.C section. Otherwise i dont think there's any sense in allowing all kinds of discussion in the Naruto Discussion Section.

The Naruto sections are meant to discuss Naruto, that's the entire point of those sections. By dragging other series into it, it isn't a Naruto section anymore + you run a far higher risk of spoiling things for people who didn't read those series. When you go to the MAC section, you are prepared you will encounter a variety of info about many series, but you go to the Naruto sections to discuss Naruto, nothing else.

Saying that you have to involve Naruto somehow, is pointless.

The only thing we forbid are crossover fights between characters from other series as those are just deplorable.

@bold: Oh god, I visited some forums before who allowed crossover fights, man were things ugly. We definitely don't need that in the base, the trolls are bad enough as it is.

The problem is that MAC section isn't as active as the ND section. The activity there isn't really strong. Isn't there like a way suggested that turns the members on to that section more often?

As for suggesting, I really don't know I tried to think of something, but I couldn't come up with anything. Am sure there are others out there with some crazy ideas for development. Why don't we [you guyz actually xD] make a thread for members suggestions over this matter?

So? That's really not even remotely a valid reason as then you might as well simply merge all sections with the Naruto Discussion section and allow people to discuss everything there. Why? Because that's where all the people are.

That idea completely undermines itself and doesn't change anything. There isn't any issue with the divide between anime an manga, they can easily be together. In fact your idea is exactly the opposite of this thread as the issue of this thread's creator is that there are supposedly not enough people and then you want to divide them between anime and manga?

This also would completely mess up the entire organization, which is based per series, unless you combe them and make for each series a difference between manga and anime, which is simply bad. Nexus did once something like that with the Gaming section. It was a reasonably active section, but because he was a vivid gamer himself, he found it necessary to make multiple sections and sub-sections for all the gaming platforums and gaming genres.

Result? A maze with mainly tumbleweed blowing through it and some lost members having no clue where exactly they have to pos their threads. The most active members there were bloody bots. Something similar happened with the Fan Art section.

There is no point in making a division between anime and manga and is not even needed. We did that for Naruto because there are so many members only viewing the anime that it was necessary, but that does not apply to the MAC section. Making such a division would backfire as you are separating a limited group of people into an even smaller group.

The MAC section is super idle, it's a waste of time making threads over there.. Spoilers can be avoided with a tag, and a rule can be made that not mentioning spoiler would get threads deleted.

Narutobase is already boring with all the annoying pairing and troll threads, like Itachi is god, hail soloking. Crossover threads would encourage intelligent discussion. Just check out Animevice, it's the brilliant example of how crossover threads are administrated. There are very few trolls in Animevice battle forums.

First image is your threads 3 months ago and second your threads recently. You said something about trolls spamming the section? Almost all your posts end up on Sakura bashing and nothing else despite multiple warnings and infractions.

If MAC section is less active it's because less people are interested in discussing those mangas. It doesn't mean they should not be able to have neat discussions threads and must go through Sakura and itachi threads for their own topic.

Joseph Gomes the only reason I believe that section is not that active is cause we don't got that many unique threads there. I think you should go there often instead of complaining about the Naruto Discussion section.
