Reputations?

Today someone has given me a bad reputation... because he/she does not like my sig, says it's lame. Can they really give you a bad reputation for such a silly reason?

I don't happen to like some sigs, either, but I don't think that's a reason to give someone a bad reputation. Is there anything I can do about it?

I don't think that people should give u bad rep if they don't like ur sig. That's really jerkish, but i don't know if there's anything that u can do about it. Reporting them is the only thing i can think of, but i'm not sure if u should do that or not...

Just don't bad rep them back. That makes u just as bad as them.

I personally think that that is a stupid reason though.

the thing is, is that you can't know who gave you the rep unless they signed it.

Thanks for the advice, but I would never do such a thing. I don't know who it was but I would never begin a rep war, it would be so silly.

It is hard to do a really big rep war, because you have to keep spreading your rep around.
and your rep isn't worth that much.

Thanks, but that was not my intention. I got upset as a child as in some other forums, bad reps can make you be banned.

Hope that is not the case here! Just wanted to know if bad reps are allowed for any reason -as I believed they could ban me-, I just thought they were meant for bad attitude towards a member of the forum.
