...but why wouldn't a business care about its company going under? That would mean the executives would also lose money unless they do something underhanded...which is part of the problem with Republicans. Of course, a Republican will sacrifice a few to help the many, which is another point. xd

As a Republican, it is my goal to secure the richest in our soceity, because they 'contribute' more through job creation, etcetera.
Sadly, the tax system in the US practically leaves the middle-class stranded and unable to evolve, while it smashes the lower-class even lower and pushes the upper-class upwards.
It's a system alright, but that doesn't make it a good system.
The one percent, according to the Republicans, is worth so much more than the rest.

Even though i am not from the US i believe that both have good ideas and both have awful ideas. I agree with the Republicans that there should be a flat tax rate no matter how much you make. However i hate the fact that they want to make it so that people can not have abortions. As for the Democrats i dont like the fact that they cater to the people who do nothing and contribute nothing. But i do like the fact that they do not push religion and that they are for abortion. I have more examples but i am going to go to bed.

thats a too common view, most people have it and that is a MAJOR problem in democracies, yes some politicians are corrupt but most just want to do their job which is, like it or not, to run the country and it IS the most important job in every country as it oversees everything else

It's not hard to run the country when you have everything (like in USA), there is plenty for politicians and people. But in some countries that aren't so rich everything goes to them, and nothing to people...

do you really think its easy to run an economy the size of the US, to command an army the size of the US armed forces, to build foreign relations, ...

the president of the US has one of, if not, the hardest job(s) in the world
and not just heads of countries, other politicians too

I agree, the larger the country, the more difficult it is to maintain it politically. Also, every tiny move is scrutinized that much more. U_U
