And what happens when the 'competent' officer isn't so competent like we saw at Parkland? Would less entrances and exits have helped in that situation? How about the recent one in Texas? Imagine if the Las Vegas concert had only one exit that everyone had to run through in case of an emergency. It was already an open venue for the most part and people still got trampled and slaughtered.
