Well first we would have to know why you hate him right?

Is it his personality, actions, reason for becoming evil?

or do you just want random reasons on why Sasuke is a wonderful character that should be adored?

details please

I'm not going to waste my time explaining to a hater why he should become a fan just for 1 rep point.

sasuke at least knows when he is in danger tries to know what his opponent is using and finds the disadvantages like what he did to danzo izangi and deidara ninjutsu so sasuke defeats opponents with knowledge that may be a reason to like him

Yeah that may be true, but he got help in the danzo battle. and deidara battle was Deidara's loss. T_T

Well if you want to at least view Sasuke as decent you have to put yourself in his shoes.

I don't most children could grasp losing their parents let alone have it be from a person you view as a model. His confusion turned into hatred and that acted as fuel to motivate him to become the best. Death isn't always easy for everyone especially kids. Imagine what a divorce does to a kid. Now imagine those parents as dead. It's not a pretty picture is it? His attitude towards others is probably a self-defense mechanism. I am sure he would like to share his pain but really how do you approach a peer, as a kid, and tell them your brother massacred your parents? Most kids would probably insensitive and either alienate him (which they did) or they would show some kind of sympathy. So, as most men are, he kept to himself and anyone attempting to "feel" his pain would be a threat because its not an easy subject to live with or accept. I mean look at Kakashi before Obito's death. Kakashi was a jerk but he did it because he felt it would somehow vindicate him of the shame he had to face ALONE. I don't think there was anyone really to comfort sasuke so after a while it made him quite callous and cold. Naruto was the first person to really "want" to help him or be his friend. I am sure if given a different set of events he may have been real friends with Naruto. Just remember that Sasuke is a young adult now with a lot to process. I don't think he was ever given the luxury of growing up "normally" (if there is such a thing). Sasuke just wants someone to kill him. He hopes that maybe his death would rid him of the pain he has had to live with against his will.

Against the rules to help me get an oppinion change? Against the rules to give out rep as motivation? Isn't that rep is for? A good comment or post?

If this thread gets closed, so be it. I want to see it live on til it is closed.

The only thing I can bring in to counter this, is that if anything, you should blame Itachi for how he's acting - after all, it was he who shaped and twisted Sasuke's personality with what he did. Can you just imagine even a splinter of the trauma he went through? Everyone you cared for, murdered by the one you looked up to the most; that screws with your head, and as if the massacre wasn't enough, a few years later he shows up again and f*cks with Sasuke even more after that, calling him weak and turning him to an even darker path. Sasuke, at that point, had barely anything left. His whole life and purpose had been shaped and fixated on destroying Itachi. Then he finds out the truth. Giant mindf*ck right there. That's where a lot of his personality comes from.

In the end, I can't tell you not to dislike him because, hey, there's always someone with that one quality that just pisses you off for some reason, but at least try to understand him.

Funny thing is I don't even really like him that much. I do like him somewhat, and I just think his character development is fascinating from a psychological perspective.

For most other people, I'd assume it's because despite going through all of the things I mentioned above, he still finds a way to get through it and complete his goals. He doesn't just talk shit, he delivers as well.

I would actually blame tobi. Who knows? Maybe sasuke would have gone back to the leaf if he hadn't found out the truth. If tobi didn't tell him the truth wouldn't have itachi's plan worked? Food for thought.

TBH i'm not a big fan of sasuke but what the hell here it goes:
1.- He tried to kill sakura (yep, i dislike her)
2.- He broke free from itachi's susanoo
3.- He has accomplished things that only few uchihas have (no matter how, he did)
4.- He saved naruto at the bridge against haku as well as his new friends against killer bee
5.- His childhood was f*cked up, anyone in his position would be like him, or worse (even in real life)

that's all i can think of lol

Yeah why is Sasuke a wonderful character that should be adored? IS one thing.

Well if you're a girl you may like him because he's "hot" or has cool hair. (lol that's why I liked him when I was like 8)

Anyway some people like him because of his complexity. He makes you really think. A lot of people think he's turned into a complete physcopath, but I always think 'how would you feel?'. He isn't static, and he has some of the best character development in the entire series. He brings forth so many emotions and he's tragic and angsty. He's complex. I may read Naruto saying "Oh Sasuke, you complete *******!" but I'm always hanging on for the next bit of Sasuke news. He's dragged me in and he's so interesting, I'm never quite sure how it's going to work out for him, whereas with a lot of animes/mangas it's stupidly predictable. No matter how bad his traits as a human are, his traits as a character are brilliant. He makes you feel sorry for him, he makes you angry, he makes you love him, he makes you hate him. He catches attention with his determination, intelligence, and contrast to other character.

anyway the way he can draw emotion from you ( though it may be negative) is pretty cool...

my opinion though i'm sure it won't change your views.
lol those are the most unfangirliest reasons I could come up with...
