[Predictions] Replacement Captains

I don't know if this topic has already been discussed (too lazy to search for it). I apologize if it has.

Ok so it's been like 50 or more chapters since Aizen, Gin and Tousen defected from the SS and there have been no replacements for them. I was thinking that the perfect replacements for this job would be ones who already held the positions in the past....yes the Vizards. Shinji Hirako former 5th Division Captain, Rose Former 3rd Division captain and Kensei former 9th Division Captain (this would also make good plot with Hisagi)

Now I know what you're thinking....it would never happen because they're part hollow and they hate SS themselves, but cmon...who else can really be capable replacements...Renji, Ikaku, Kira...I think not.

I believe after this arc yammamoto will see that they were no real threat to begin with and realize it was basically all aizen's fault and apologize to them. This can be likely because it has been shown that SS is becoming more progressive. They already know Ichigo is a Vizard and still have dealings with him.

The Vizards themselves don't really hold a personal grudge over the Shinigami. They just felt a little betrayed and I'm sure some good conversation can get them back on the Shinigami side. When you really think about it, they are really the only ones strong enough to hold positions as Captain currently. Kubo would make a bad choice by introducing new characters to fill the spot which would further complicate the plot and he would degrade the prestige of the gotei 13 by making renji and the like Captains prematurely.

Eh I don't see it happening. Even if Yamamoto were to apologize, which I doubt he will, they Vizards just wouldn't want to take the jobs. They have no interest in rejoining the Gotei 13.

Maybe in the end they will have even less than 6 captains left? Who knows (though I doubt it).

It seems so predictable that they're going to recruite the Vizards, but yeah they have the experience for it and there must be still something between Hisagi and Kensei.

Ya forgot about that, from the description of the kido he used it would seem he died, as lame as that may be. But the other Captains should be alive, Aizen said he didn't kill them so they could watch the outcome of the battle. So unless Yama-jii's kido got them too they should be fine.

my opinion is that its only the CC that is dead. in a kind of similar way to the third hokage, he needs to pass on and some of his powers remain a mystery in order for him to be uncomparable to future peoples power levels....

manga writers have this great ability to leave everyone forever trying to guage just who was/is stronger with unresolved disputes.

been done in naruto. with jiraiya vs oro...pains full abilities...madara and the first.

in bleach so far i dont think ichicgo / we the reader are ready for the jump in power from CCs shikai to bankai...hence his lame death... and it not being released, and for for the same reason we havent seen Isshins shikai (who appears stronger than un-hogyoku'd aizen) nor is it my opinion that we will see Aizens bankai...im thinking he will in all likelyhood just go on a hogyoku blah blah rant...turn into something (even more) shiny...then get defeated...

as for a replacement for the CC pos. i belive that Hikifune. will return from squad 0...since niether Kyorako Ohana or ....cant remember his name xd were promoted to squad o... and that this will allow the further development of Isshins character/Ichigos heritage

and i don't see any vizard becoming captains

like it was said they have no interest in the gotei they are only fighting for ichigo

i can see renji becoming a possible captain and if hisagi unlocks bankai he is going to be a captain no doubt (as is he is one of if not the strongest lieutenant)

and then it is pretty popular that ichigo ends up a captain but i doubt it since then there would be no point to the story afterall he is the ''substitute'' shinigami

You all keep saying the vizards want nothing to do with the shinigami and they're only helping ichigo but I really think after this fight a lot of tension will be eased. The vizards have a lot of good history with some of the members of SS. And remember the only reason they really hate SS is because of Aizen and CENTRAL 46 that ordered their execution but all of central 46 is dead now. They are going to realize that Aizen was the real enemy all along and not SS. Hey if Kisuke can forgive SS then it's hope for them too.

If renji becomes a captain, that would ruin bleach. He is not anywhere close to captain level, even with his bankai. Hisagi is pretty strong. He will need a lot of training with a bankai to be considered a Captain.

There is really no one else to fill these positions. And like I said before the vizards have all the qualifications.

renjis only just learned bankai...if he gets the time to master it properly i believe he could be deserving of a captains position...

in terms of strength at shikai level i dont see any difference between him and hisagi... so to say one would be a good captain if he learnt bankai and was trained but that the other would be lame is kind of illogical :flaw:

yes i agree there will be much less tension but still they have their own objectives i highly doubt it but it is possible

i am pretty sure that all the captains nows about ikkaku's bankai..

and about the captains ,i don't think that the vizard will accept captain post again....
who deserve to be captain: ikkaku + renji (they have the qualification to be captains , i mean bankai) ..but unfortunately no one will accept to be captians

Well, perhaps ikkaku might become a captain, but only to try and rival Kenpachi's squad, but I doubt he'lll leave voluntarily.
He is however the best choice, he pwns renji, and well, I'm sure he can beat the weak captains such as komomura and Hitsugayass.

i think that they should jus make the gotei 13 the gotei 14 and the just add another division for the vizards. that way they can b intigrated into the story permenately and they wont have to be added into any other division. Plus they'd always b around in case they needed to fight for whatever reason.

Soul Society's courts make the decisions about those sorts of things. They determined that the Vizards and that Urahara were threats to Soul Society, so they exiled them. Unless those courts reverse their decision (which is unlikely, because if they planned to do so, they would've done so already with the revelation that Aizen was, in fact, the bad guy), then the Vizards and Urahara will remain in exile.
