[Suggestion] Remove -rep function

I think you should remove the -rep function. The reason for this is because when sometimes you -rep someone, they'll -rep you back for no reason.

This week I just -rep'd someone for the 1st time because I didn't like his post. Guess what he does? He picks any random post of mine on the same thread and -rep's me for no valid reasons,

Well, people who do that are petty and handle that some -rep them for such a reason.
I personally -rep people, when they troll and annoy the community.

Look, we all give out rep for post we deem worthy for they may be intelligent responses, helpful ones or just funny. On the other hand, we have post that are just full of shit and if we want to we'll neg rep it.

Maybe a feature where one cannot neg rep the person whom has recently neg repped him/her would be better.

Just because one person has wrongfully -repped you, that doesn't mean the whole thing should be removed. If someone has abused the rep system and you know of it, report it. Simple as that.

Who does? But you can't keeping complain about it, move on be the bigger man and go on with your life. It's there do 'show' people how liked you are. But I don't look for people with high rep, if they are nice and whatnot. That's all that matters rep/posts are nothing important, peoples personality is where it's at.

Nope, i shouldn't be removed. Besides, your solution to your 'unfair' -Rep was simple, you should have just reported the person's actions. He will have gotten an infraction and the -Rep, he gave you would have been cancelled.

Why would you -rep someone in the first place? If you don't like a post why put down a persons rep? Just let the person keep his reps. People should only be given the chance to get +rep'd and then compare how many reps they have compared to others, -rep just ruins that.

I -rep'd him cause it was a troll/spam post
