Remind me what makes people hate the new series

Honestly I think it's getting an unnecessary amount of hate for a couple reasons.

1.sasuke and hinata having different design. I agree the new sasuke design is bad. The hinata design isnt really bad but they needlessly removed her boobs so theres a bunch of butthurt virgins. Other than those 2 problems the art is actually not bad at all. A little diffrent from kishis work but not drastically and also not of bad quality.
2. They are doing the boruto movie in manga form. This is my biggest problem as its pointless. Pretty much anyone who is going to read the boruto manga has already seen the movie anyway and its going to take a while to cover all of that material.

A lot of people are upset because of these reasons. Personally im more mad about the second but other than that im interested to see what happens. I thoughtthe new content we got was good. The art was on point and boruto looked cool.'im not butthurt aboutthe naruto dead thing like some people because I expected something like this. How were they gonna have new villains after kaguya and god mode naruto and sasuke without taking them out of the picture? Youre dumb if you didnt expect something along the lines of naruto being dead or out of commission somehow.

I think some people are hating cause its the cool thing to do right now. People are like sheep, the follow the herd even if they dont actually believe its as bad as theynare saying.'i expected a backlash when it came out as well, to be honest. Most the people hating are actually still going to read it and are interested to see what happens after the movie stuff is done.

It was ended the moment Naruto saved the world, Sasuke turn good and Sakura got her man back. Kakashi had his story closed with perfect ending too.

I think, honestly, a lot of naruto (ex) readers despise the new manga because they are afraid that the plot and their favorite characters will be shitty and screwed up even more than in the kishimoto story. The more the story develops, the more the characters became deformed, and the plot nosensical.


So, taking into account the historic of naruto, it makes sense to be afraid. Not to mention that the new design of some characters doesnt help. I don't think the new author has no talent or is a bad designer, but the style simply doesn't combine with Naruto. If they were completly new characters, in a new manga, would be ok.

Kishimoto: Mediocre author at best. Treats his female cast like shit, and can't develop realistic relationships by himself.

Continuing of Naruto when it doesn't need to continue: Agreed. Naruto should of ended at 699, it never needed the next generation crap.

Art: Yes the art sucks. However that can improve overtime. Plus when Ikemoto does color panels, you can definitely tell he worked under Kishimoto. This is his first time drawing a Mangaka by himself. Can't we give him the benefit of the doubt for a while? Seriously.

Power Inconsistencies/Nerfs: I haven't seen much inconsistency or nerfs until the Gaiden which introduced that Naruto was rusty. Other than that, everything has been pretty simple. The Manga hasn't even introduced a problem here yet. Boruto or Kawaki haven't been stated to surpass any high tier character, nor was it claimed that Naruto was actually dead yet.

My only problem with the new series is that:

> I want a darker story. I really won't be reading this if it has the same push over kindness Naruto Part 2 had ever since Nagato was saved.

> Side characters/Female characters should be given more screen time, or at least not to be treated like trash. Sarada/Chou Chou/Himawari should at least be likable enough for fan's to talk about, and not complain about in the future. EX - Sakura & Hinata

> I hope the villain isn't crap either. The minute we get some lame backstory on why Kawaki wants revenge on the Shinobi world, then it's pretty much over. We've had lack luster and mediocre villains for a long time. If they can surprise us and give the readers someone who makes the manga interesting on the other side, maybe even make readers see that his path is understandable. We could jump start something here.

My only real problem with it so far is that the Manga is retelling the Movie, and given that the series is monthly, we probably won't be getting new content for another 2 or 3 months. The only thing I can criticize it on so far given that it has shown us nothing else.

Oh and the only plus so far is that Adult Boruto doesn't look like a fucboi like Part 2 Naruto

That said, i've always thought that Naruto would be better if it were a seinen. Maybe the new author can make a more interesting plot, because Kishimoto, at the moment he released Naruto, had a lot of limitations, and with time mangas like Death Note was written, so probably this new author will have more liberties to make a better story and even develop the new and older characters properly.

I'll not be prejudiced, but if i could chose, i'd like to read stories about the third shinobi war, featuring Minato and his students, Kushina, Fugaku, Mikoto; and the warring states period following Hashirama and Madara stories. I think that would be much more interesting than Boruto, abording characters whose developemnt would be welcomed.

Id rather wait and see if the new content is good before dismissing it as low level garbage. Theres been like 4 pages of new content and it really isnt enough to judge whether its going to end up being good or not, so ill wait and see rather than assuming its going to be garbage.The existence of the boruto manga takes nothing away from the original series. If you or i or anyone doesnt like the new series, thats fine. Dont bother reading it then. It doesnt stop you from enjoying the original series. Its not like this is a retelling of naruto's story.

A lot of people hate dragonball gt. myself included. This doesnt stop me from enjoying dragonball and dragonball z though, and many people still watch and love the original work. Some people actually do like GT, and who am imto say it shouldnt exist? It certainly didnt stop toriyama from creating dragonball super which, completely ignores gt. i just dont think your sentimental "i was so invested in the orig. story" argument holds up at all.

I dont see where youre going with the ps4/ps1 question. I have a ps4 and i still play my original playstation from time to time. There are classic games on it that are good whether or not the ps4 has better graphics. But my nostalgia for the ps1 days isnt going to prevent me from enjoying modern games either.

Don't confuse spending time on this forum with reading the series by itself. What this forum does is different compared to how the series was presented. Majority of us are here to pass time. Not all of us are here for Naruto.

So far based on the first 3 pages was really intriguing and interesting to say the very least. They did really good job in sucking people into the series so that people would still read it regardless of their hate.
I however am favor of Naruto death and if it goes down to that route, it'll bring back the dark theme it once had.

I always knew that Boruto would surpassed Naruto and it was quite obvious and there's many ways to do so. For one people love to undermine the Hyuga an Uzumaki prowess that reside within Boruto and the Ootsutsuki lineage. People love to undermine the tenseigan or JJ Madara who is weaker than naruto or sasuke.

People doesn't want to acknowledge that technology gives them the upper hand against with great amount of resources that could even nuke villages and other countries hence killer bee uses that laser to destroy so many meteors during the last.
People fail to realize that this technological advances changes the whole era where it can put the whole ninja system to danger even Naruto and Sasuke.

People want to deny that Naruto has gotten too rusty. He's no longer at his prime when he was a god.

So really if anything they're complaining, its their fault for blinded by their ignorance. And let them be by prolonging by their demise.
