Remind me what makes people hate the new series

I honestly don't know what there is to really hate about it aside from the art (which isn't that bad to me really , but I prefer Kishi's style).
Seriously though , what do we even know about it to even hate? We've really only gotten a few panels of new content. The rest of the chapter was just the start of the Boruto movie.

Tell me then , what could any of you guys have possibly hated about a mere face off (where no fighting actually commenced)?

2. Tattoo poerups which reduce the theme of hardwork being put to gain the powers.

3. Ridiculous OP ass characters who supposedly killed Naruto after it was thought that Naruto and Sasuke were the most OP characters.

4. More milking after it was believed to be that the Boruto Movie marked the end of things. Don't know why these authors keep trying to impress their fans at this point.

5. Rehash of the Boruto movie in a manga version after we all knew what happened which equates to more wasting of time.

This manga is worse than the shittiest anime filler SP has made.

• Naruto and Sasuke got a lot of panel time, but Sakura got like one panel (does not bode well for the future of female MCs).
• The redesign of characters makes no sense really (I don't really care about how Hinata looks, but it's still pretty dumb).
• Going from the fast pace of battles in Naruto, where there were a lot of interesting and new jutsus to be revealed, to Boruto, where exactly one new jutsu will be revealed over the course of the entire movie arc, is not really interesting.
• Telling the story from Boruto's perspective could very well mean that the development of other characters is going to by shysted. At the very least, we're going to have to wait quite a bit for the manga to get out of the movie arc before Sarada and Mitsuki get serious development, and this will take a few months.
• That many fans know the plot, even if they haven't watched the Boruto movie, doesn't help.
• The mangaka isn't even taking the opportunity to draw new things or new perspectives on events that took place (he could have added things to when Boruto attempted to attack Sasuke, for example, or made the panda fight more interesting).
• Some people feel that Boruto's future look is too busy/trying too hard, and that the scenario feels very contrived.
• Even if hinting that something happened to Naruto is a good hook, it also feels contrived and cliched.
• Orochimaru seeming to be a good guy doesn't sit too well with some people.
• So far, the writing quality does not seem that much above Gaiden, and a lot of people felt Gaiden was pretty meh.
• The movie arc isn't even that good.

That said, I don't have much in the way of feelings about the manga. I'm mostly just waiting for movie arc to end.

Ill only start taking this series seriously whenever we get out the movie plotline and thats probably by the end of the year, until then let them whine.

Wanna tell you why? Because it's not Part 1 and Kishimoto isn't drawing it, that is literally the Naruto fanbase in a nutshell. Group of grown ass people stuck in 2004 **** riding Rock Lee in 2016 :kk:

I don't understand either.

Kishimoto: Mediocre author at best. Treats his female cast like shit, and can't develop realistic relationships by himself.

Continuing of Naruto when it doesn't need to continue: Agreed. Naruto should of ended at 699, it never needed the next generation crap.

Art: Yes the art sucks. However that can improve overtime. Plus when Ikemoto does color panels, you can definitely tell he worked under Kishimoto. This is his first time drawing a Mangaka by himself. Can't we give him the benefit of the doubt for a while? Seriously.

Power Inconsistencies/Nerfs: I haven't seen much inconsistency or nerfs until the Gaiden which introduced that Naruto was rusty. Other than that, everything has been pretty simple. The Manga hasn't even introduced a problem here yet. Boruto or Kawaki haven't been stated to surpass any high tier character, nor was it claimed that Naruto was actually dead yet.

My only problem with the new series is that:

> I want a darker story. I really won't be reading this if it has the same push over kindness Naruto Part 2 had ever since Nagato was saved.

> Side characters/Female characters should be given more screen time, or at least not to be treated like trash. Sarada/Chou Chou/Himawari should at least be likable enough for fan's to talk about, and not complain about in the future. EX - Sakura & Hinata

> I hope the villain isn't crap either. The minute we get some lame backstory on why Kawaki wants revenge on the Shinobi world, then it's pretty much over. We've had lack luster and mediocre villains for a long time. If they can surprise us and give the readers someone who makes the manga interesting on the other side, maybe even make readers see that his path is understandable. We could jump start something here.

My only real problem with it so far is that the Manga is retelling the Movie, and given that the series is monthly, we probably won't be getting new content for another 2 or 3 months. The only thing I can criticize it on so far given that it has shown us nothing else.

Oh and the only plus so far is that Adult Boruto doesn't look like a fucboi like Part 2 Naruto

The fact that most of our feeling toward this new series is gone/not there anymore.
Maybe the fact that it is not base in Kishi's mind where all the rules/ NV's reality based.

The feeling is very important cause if it is not there then no one can force it into you....
