It's kinda obvious you're a Jehovah's Witness. And that's not the same thing as Christianity if I'm not mistaken.

I'm a former Catholic turned agnostic... but I would say they are about the same. Jehovah's Witness are about the same... there beliefs are probably stricter and tend to believe other things... I wouldn't know what they would be though.

haha, well personally I don't have anything I strongly believe in that could be ridiculed. Religious mates of mine will get furious if you say the wrong thing, which is sad. If you're so sure of yourself and your belief, why would you even bother getting mad, huh? It should be easy then to just disprove any critics. But no, they can't, that's why they'll get mad.

First of all I've been to an actual Jehovah witnesses congregation and I could just feel the manipulation flowing out of that place. I'm not flaming your particular religion just that one congregation of Jehova Witnesses. My friend invited me to this. Me being a good frien and all agreed to go. The majority of the hour mass was dedicated to explaining on how to explain to people the Bible. There were theoretical questions from the mass dedicated to doing this. My friend is modest and humble with everyone calling each other brother and sister. What bugged me was that they actually had a quota for those attending that congregation. I mean each one HAD to go and bring even more members. I mean they weren't blunt about it but there was the implication in almost every question or statement and the pressure was definately felt in the air. Oh but what I hated the most was when they subtly asked for a "donation" to be deposited every week. It also wasn't demanded but again that pressure was in. My friend was at that time a recovering addict going to that same church for a month. He barely had money for the food he ate or for the place he stayed at. How could they call him brother when they don't even know that? He politely told them that he coildnt donate at the time. I figured it wasn't the first time they asked that month he was going with them. After that first time I went they began to come to my place and open my gate to knock at my door. Mind you there were no initiall invitation by me. I wouldn't allow them into my place but talked to them outside in my porch. Politely I told them that I had no problem listening to the word of god. But wait that wasn't enough. They kept on explaining the bible to me and Gods final plan to eradicate the old earth and bring forth a new one. Npt in that way but just a new type of way people will live with each pther. I told them that it was fine and cool with me. That wasn't enough EITHER. So now they had to explain how god would go about doing just that. Geez adter an hour of talking they finally left. Was that enough?Nooo they had to come two weeks back to back on sat and Sunday at nine in the morning. Again take in mind they always wanted me to go back to the congregation. After those two weeks I definately did not let them into my property. Dude you can't be doing that to people its wrong and unethical. I understand your message just fine I just don't care for it. You wonder why we get mad at you guys. Its not because of the individual jehovah witness but because of countless times a jehovah witness will try to talk to you. Its not what your saying but your actions. You gotta understand that there is people that don't want to listen to that. We've gone through it so many times that we lash out. Some more agressively than others but that is being human. Unlike your obsessive behavior. Are you that desperate for us to not go to hell? Doesn't the bible say that those that are sinful we should let them be. Sorry I went off on your thread but dude come on. What if an apple sales associate went to your home to sell you the same product almost every weekend and explain the features for almost two hours.

I'm Agnostic personally, but I respect all other religions, I think its good to have faith in life as it teaches some important lessons and I wish I could believe in something but I feel sometimes religion gets things out of hand and sparks most of the wars.

People are hypocrites... you will most likely get hate for this because is Christian related and not Islam related...

actually you cant really say that if your not a muslim, that seriously shows how much your media has hypnotized you against muslims.
no sane muslim will hate on it.. but i cant guarantee if an atheist makes an account with a muslim name and try to portray us as evil..
we believe in giving love and respect and expecting the same in return.. but if you slap us for the love and respect we give you.. obviously things will turn out not the way we want then

Actually, a lot of the threads on religion get closed or deleted, the mods do it when members start getting out of hand. These threads don't need to have hate, it's just some people on the base...
