No, aside from James Madison and Benjamin Franklin (who also considered himself a christian along with holding deist beliefs), the Founding Fathers belonged to Christianity in one form or another.

Deists still believe that a god exists, but they don't believe in any organized religions. So even if the Constitution mentioned God, that doesn't mean that it was influenced by Christianity.

I studied deists when studied English enlightenment, but I don't think they "trusted" in God at all. The God of the deism is like an immobile motor, who doesn't take care of humanity. Plus, they wanted to eliminate the concepts of "faith" and "mistery", not casualty that one of the deism's masterpiece is called "Christianity not mysterious".
I doubt you can trust in such a God

If you really really think about this debate then youll come to realize that you dont need to say what religion you follow or what you believe in. Conversations in real life rarely tend to lean towards existential questions. In fact, if someone doesnt bring up religion then noone else will either. What im trying to say is that a person can live a life without religion being the focus of every conversation... and if thats possible then an individual can live life without religion whatsoever.

If you want to talk about moral lessons youve learned in life then talk about the ideals that your parents have given to you. Yes those very same ideals can come from the bible or any religion but it can surely be separated from its religious substance.

I'm a Zen Buddhist. There are some reasons relating to my travels that I won't discuss; however, I can tell you one of the reasons I chose Buddhism is because I didn't need a God, or a rulebook to dictate how I live my life. Buddhism is not a religion because there's no deity; it is a philosophy.

It doesn't promise you a place in a haven in return for doing as it tells you, and the Buddhas don't sit on a pedestal, to be treated as our "betters". Anyone can attain Buddhahood - it's an all including concept.
