All right.=D Obito's kamui makes amaterasu useless. Sharingan makes him immune to genjutsu and allows him to overcome Tsukyomi. Itachi did say that someone with sharingan and the bloodline trait could overcome it. Also, susanoo wouldn't help because Obito could teleport inside it and attack Itachi. Objects that have gotten past the shell of the susanoo can move freely inside it.

It's hard to say how many people actually hate Itachi, most of them hate his trollish fans who make topics like this.
Also, even though it's Itachi fans that throw around the word "hater," it really seems like they are the ones who hate everything that isn't Itachi. That makes Itachi fans hypocrites.

Actually thinking about this was interesting, While Im not an itachi fanboy, he is an extremely formidable, While I doubt he could beat minato I think he would have a hell of a time defeating itachi considering how capable of an opponent he is.
When he says same blood as him he means a relative thats related to him by blood. If he mean't blood line limit then he wouldn't have said Sharingan.
Also Sharingan doesn't make you immune to genjutsu. For most maybe but we are talking about Itachi.. Itachi list of genjutsu victims

Road to ninja is not canon but it was a dead on demonstration of why Obito feared Itachi
Itachi Genjutsu is OP and it still seems to be underrated

Don't take my case the wrong way. Itachi is most certainly the best genjutsu user next to Shisui. He's actually one of my faves. However, genjutsu itself has limitations. Visual jutsu makes some immune to all but tsukyomi. Someone with good enough chakra control can break it. If you manage to hurt yourself in the real world, you'll break out of it. Even Tayuya's genjutsu was overcome by that.
I don't think genjutsu was meant to be the trump jutsu. Tomorrow I'll bring up Naruto. By the =Dway, thanks for using reasons. Most Itachi fans don't do that. This made my day.
Genjutsu is definitely not a trump card jutsu ONCE its been discovered. The problem with itachi though is that his illusions are so deceptive you dont realize your in one until its too late. He literally mirrors everything to make it seem like you are still in the real world. Genjutsu seems to be a 1 trick pony (except for poor Naruto and Sasuke).
when you think about all of Itachi abilities he truly is OP from abilities alone. Kishi did say he was his favorite character though and I guess he made Itachi a softy to kinda keep the "With great power comes great responsibility" mojo

Actually Itachi's full capabilities have not all been seen yet. So both Minato and Itachi are yet to be revealed. And Minato is also a year older than Itachi so we not sure who would win if a 10 year old Itachi (chunin level) vs a 10 year old Minato (academy student) would end. Also a 14 year old Itachi (wiped out clan) vs a 14 year old Minato (not even sensei yet) would end. So Minato is around age 22 (at death) and Itachi is 21 (at death) So even if Minato was stronger - He would eventually be surpassed by Itachi each age grade. Like when Itachi is age 22 he would be stronger then Minato at 22. Than again even Kakashi stated that the new generation will always surpass the previous. That's why sasuke and naruto will eventually surpass Itachi.
And your nagato> Itachi part was just stupid. I will admit that to me Itachi and Minato at there perspective ages are probably equal and each would win 5 out of 10 fights. BUT Nagato first off is way older and no he can't shinra tensei Totsuka blade that was just silly.
