Red Dead Redemption Movie?

According to IGN, there might be a RDR movie in the works, starring Brad Pitt as John Marston. IGN has even posted an Article on what the movie should and shouldn't have.

I think that they make good points, but it's pretty pretentious of them to make it. Filmmakers should strive to make something that can't be categorized or guidelined.

As for Brad Pitt playing Marston, it sounds a little strange. He's a great actor, but his face looks like it wouldn't really recreate Marston's ugly mug. Maybe he can, maybe he can't. Either way, i'm looking forward for more news about this.

Rockstar is supposedly watching the project closely while still owning the rights to it. I trust Rockstar. If they think that the director is making the Movie subpar or cheesy, they'll fix it or cancel the project.

One thing I really like about Rockstar is that they prefer Quality over quantity.

Instead of cranking out mediocre games every year, *cough* Activision! *cough* they spend a couple years crafting a beautiful experience that people could play forever.

Depends. If it's a novel describing everything in the movie, then it's worse.

If it's a dis sectional of a multi-million dollar movie, then it's cool.

And I really can`t remember any stars like Brad playing in any movies based on games before?

As long as Uwe Boll doesn`t make itxd

And were is good old Clint btw? He would make a epic John Marston

As for Brad... Well i can`t really think of any other that fits better than him.. Maybe Viggo Mortensen(From Lord of the rings, Aragon)?

Not sure if I'm that thrilled aobut the idea. But I know I don't wanna see Brad Pitt as John. Where's Clint Eastwood when ya need him?? xDD But seriously, there are so many great [western] actors out there that would be waaaaaay better than pitt.

yeah Viggo Mortensen sounds way better then Brad Pitt, only i still have my doubts...the old wil wild west vibe they recreated in RDR was spot on but i doubt if that same vibe will work for a movie.
