Alright lets begin then. *Exhales a small fireball that. As the ball hits the ground it makes a small fire in the field* Watch me.

*I inhale and channel my Katon chakra up to my core, as I prepare to exhale, I moderate the chakra controling it precisly to prevent it from becoming fire and exhale somewhat transparent gray mist from my mouth onto the fire. The fire expands far and becomes even larger with the mist's assistance*

For this technique you do the same thing as you would do with a stream however when you focus your chakra make sure to control it enough so that it doesn't become fire when you exhale it. By doing this you will exhale a mist like stream which is highly flamable and thus, increasing the potency of fire.

Good, now following the same lines we're going to focus more of our chakra into the mix and instea of creating mist we're going to create a heavy thick ash capable of causing third degree burns. *throws you a piece of flint* Put this in your teeth and after you exhale the ash click it with your teeth, it'll cause a small spark but that's all you need to send the ash up in flames since it's already highly combustible. Observe...

*I channel my katon chakra up into my mouth. I use more chakra than before however still preventing it from becoming fire as I exhale. Once I exhale, I emit a super heated, thick black cloud of ash outwards in front of me. I click my teeth with a piece of flint causing a spark which ignites the entire ash cloud creating a large flame.*

Excellent, now *tosses you a lighter* this one you can do by yourself. Simply toss the lighter out in front of you and channel your chakra into the open flame on the lighter. That will cause the flame from the lighter to expand and create a large wall of flame out in front of you capable of burning small objects and projectiles. Now try it.

Correct, now we're going to create our own lava with this next technique. Observe.

*I first begin by stomping down my foot in front of me with my own chakra, creating a tunnel underground and I focus my Katon chakra in my core. I release a powerful flame which travels through the tunnel and mixes with the earth, creating lava. After I breath the fire, I create the tiger seal, which causes a large eruption of lava a distance away.*

With this technique you create a tunnel from you're position to your opponent by stomping your foot on the ground. With the hole you've created, you'll breath a large amount of fire into ground which will travel and mix with the earth. Fire+Earth=Lava so when it erupts under your opponent, it comes out as lava. *creates a clone* Try it on my clone.

The first thing we did. You'll preform the necessary hand seals for the technique and then exhale a flamable gas/mist from your mouth which will increase flames or, if it comes into contact with flames from the source, it'll create a fairly large fireball.

Description: The user first throws out a lighter that has an open flame.The user the turns the flame into a wall of fire used for protection or to burn small objects thrown towards him. This jutsu can be used with Hurricane Fist to create a combo jutsu.

Though not exactly an alternative form of fire or Katon technique, this technique utilizes a different method I suppose. You simply input your Katon chakra into an already existing flame (the lighter) and then it'll create a wall of flames capable of burning small objects/projectiles. Combine it with a wind technique and it can be used to caue some damage if your opponents get caught in it.

Similar to the first technique in the scroll. For this one you exhale a superheated ash cloud capable of causing third degree burns. Once the ash is out and you cause a spark with your teeth, the ash cloud will burst into a big firey explosion.

The last technique we did. You stomp on the ground creating a tunnel between you and your target. With the opening you've created you breath fire into it, having it travel and mix with the earth and then it'll cause a big eruption of lava from beneath your opponent's feet.

All these techniques utilize some form/variation of fire that isn't actually straight forward fire/flames (exception of the wall of flames), which it's considered an alternative release method for this training's sake.

*I'm going to give you the choice this time to try something new. Do you want to do what you did last time and just do the combo or do you want to try and counter an attack? If you counter an attack you can use from 1 to 3 techniques but make sure you use the right decisions. If you don't want to counter then you have to use at least two techniques.

Advantages: As a variation and not a flame (other than the wall of fire) the fire can be activated at will and does not have to be right away. if one of these jutsus was lit by another already powerful flame it would make it bigger and even more powerful.

Disadvantages: its advantage is also its disadvantage. as the flame is not lit right away it gives the opponent a chance to escape from it.

What part of don't aim your attacks at me didn't you understand the last time *I walk over to you and pull your shirt up and place an explosive tag on your back.* Maybe you'll get the picture this time, attack me again and I'll detonate that ^^ Now. I'll address your move. It's completely wrong. For the last technique you used, creating the tunnle is considered a part of the technique and therefore you began your second technique and first one at the same time essentially. It's not something you can prepare. The exploding flame crater, as a specific technique has it's own flaw which is the time it takes for you to create the tunnel, breath fire and then have the lava erupt under your opponent. That is why the technique is best used when you have your opponent occupied with something else or they can't see you.

So try another combination *creates a clone* THERE AIM AT HIM :rag: HIM NOT ME HIM!! >< I'll address your advantages and disadvantages later.

Descent. With this move you did, the Phoenix flower and the Mist dance technique would've been enough. After you exhaled the fireballs and then the stream of mist onto them, you would've essentially enlarged the flames of the fire.

Now, onto the advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages: You're correct for the most part, at least with the mist blaze dance and the ash cloud. With these alternative means of release, you have a more diverse method of using Fire release techniques and they give the element a little more diversity and versitility. They're primarily used in conjunction with other Fire techiques to increase the potency of flames as you said or to give you an even more powerful technique (example ash cloud and flame crater which creates lava)

Disadvantages: Now the disadvantage you pose is only correct in terms of the D-ranked technique in this method actually. With The wall of flames, it's a technique meant for defense and it serves it's purpose as such when you create the wall. Using it for offense is a plus when you add to it with a wind technique. With the Ash cloud, you have the ability to cause third degree burns with the ash itself and to block their vision with the thicknes, making it difficult to avoid. I've explained the flame crater weakness to you already, but my point is that these techniques don't necessarily have that same weakness. They're unique to the specific jutsu. Though I will admit it's difficult to place a single disadvantage to this method as a whole. I should've asked for specific jutsu flaws instead of trying to make you find a correlation between the four techniques.

Good, now we'll get onto the final method. Now with these last few techniques, they are in this category because they are all individually special techniques that don't really follow any of the same properties of last few methods. So from here on out, you'll be learning each technique individually. At the end, I want you to give me an advantage and disadvantage for all of them.

First technique we'll be doing is as follows.

*I begin by inhaling as I make the sequence of seven hand seals; Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger. I mould my Katon chakra in my core and channel it upwards and as I complete the last tiger seal, I exhale a huge mass of flames in the shape of a dragon. As the dragon shaped flames head out in front of me, they divide into three seprate entities with flames heading to the front, leftside and right side and converging all in one place upon impact*

You do the seals I demonstratd and you spew out a large flame which comes out in the shape of a dragon. You'll then have the flames shoot out in three directions (left right and frontal)
