Alright here we go onto the next method.


This next method deals with currents and waves of lightning. Last time we created bolts of lightning, releasing them so that they're dense, powerful and penetrating. Now with this method, we're focusing on making currents/waves of electricity that you channel through and conduct through anything; the ground, water, people etc, etc So in a way it's like streams of lightning. Similar to some extent as with how we dealt with streams in Katon. Understand?

alright, with that in mind we'll start. i want you to gather said chakra in your palm and slam your hand on the ground, channeling that surge of lightning in a wide area through the ground around and near you. Remember, you need to fuel it with a constant surge of chakra to keep it going for a moment. If you don't you can't make it work.

*I focus my lightning chakra into my palm. as lightning begins crackling around my hand i slam it into the ground. i pour my chakra through the ground cause a powerful surge of lightning to to rush through the ground in a wide area as i continue to pour out my chakra.*

Good, now I want you to focus on releasing chakra from every point in your body. Like last time, you're going to be constantly fueling your chakra into this as you create a large electrical current all around your body, somewhat like lightning armor. Understand?

*i focus my lightning chakra in my core. Lightning begins to crackle around me. i constantly release chakra from every point in my body making lightning cover my body and some releasing and hitting the ground and i keep pushing my chakra all over my body*

Good, good *walks over and un-sheaths my sword* Now I want you to channel your chakra through this blade. You're going to be focusing your Raiton chakra through this sword and have it act as a conductor. Channel your raiton chakra from your core and have it travel up into the blade and create a constant stream of electricity around the blade. Make sure to have the chakra vibrate quickly in order for the lightning to enhance the sharpness of the blade. *steps back and finds a moderat sized log* I'm going to toss this to you and I want you to cut it in two. Should you do this technique correctly, you should cut through this like butter cleanly....

Now go *tosses log*

*I focus my lightning chakra in my core quickly. then i channel it through the blade making lightning crackle around it and the the blade begins to vibrate faster. i continue to pour my chakra to the blade making the vibrations faster. as the log comes toward me i hold the blade up and cut through the log cleanly with little effort*

Very good pupil. Now, while you maintain that lightning surge and flow through the sword, I want you to stab the blade into the ground and have the lightning from the sword travel outwards on the ground and through the ground, similar to how you created a current along the ground the first time with your hands, only this time you're using the chakra in the blade. Again, you're constantly fueling the chakra to create the surge of lightning.

*As i still have the lightning flowing through the blade i stab it into the ground. I create a huge surge of lightning through the ground from the blade breaking up the ground and still fueling it constantly*

Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity from the user's hands. This jutsu can vary in power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is ideal to use in conjunction with a water jutsu.

Again, pretty simple and very similar to Raging Thunder just more powerful.

Description: The user surrounds themselves with electricity. The intense electric field protects them by electrocuting anyone who comes into contact with it, but only works for one attack.

This technique allows you to release lightning from all over your body in an intense field of lightning. It cloaks you like armor and will electrocute anything it contacts.

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together and running up a cliff face, the user causes stone and rock above him to become dislodged and rain down past him onto his opponents below by releasing a wave of electrical energy. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work

This was actually a doton jutsu up to recently. You use your lightning chakra and create a spread of lightning that dislodges rocks on a cliff to make them fall on your enemies below.

You first channel chakra into the atmosphere above you into the clouds. Once done you create your own lightning in the atmosphere and you can create several lightning strikes that come down on your opponent. Pefect for those bastards that like to use their arial summons xd

Description: After using a Water Style technique, the user releases a wave of electricity that can electrocute any water within range, electrocuting and knocking back an opponent in contact with the water. When used without a water technique, its power is moderate. The technique can be used extremely quickly, so that it finishes almost in conjunction with the previous jutsu.

Very simple and very commonly used.

Again, quite simple the same as the first technique, lightning surge, only much large in scale

Description: The user will take out two large shuriken or Windmill Shuriken and channel their raiton chakra into them. Note: Numbing Effect lasts for one turn.

Description: After performing a small sequence of hand seals the user will place their hand on the ground converting their chakra in to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of electricity that cuts through the ground in the direction of the enemy. The shape of the bolt is a triangular with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the target. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

This one is a bit misleading but you basically put your hands on the ground and a large triangle of lightning destruction is sent in your opponents way though the ground. He can dodge it pretty easily though, by going up, something you can take advance of with ease.

Description:This technique requires the user to firstly create a shadow clone, each of them then activate the Lightning Cutter on opposite hands to one another. Connecting the two techniques together, forming a chain of sorts, they are then able to use the resulting beam to slice through objects with great ease.
Note: Must first perform the shadow clone technique.

This one is very recent in the manga. You need to have created a shadow clone before hand. When you do so, the shadow clone and you will connect to each other through a thin chain of sharp lightning. You both get some distance from each other and run towards a target. As the chain touches something it will cut it as a sharp thin wire would. Remember however, that this move leaves some vulnerability to water as you are connected through a long lightning chain to your clone. A big enough water attack will result in your electrifying yourselves.

Questions Concerns before you do the template?

Advantages to Method: This method mostly covers a large area with each attack. Attacks like Lightning fang and Thunder god attack in the location you chose and can hit things in the air e.g. summonings or people in the air(Grrrr those people are annoying).

Disadvantages to Method: you need to use a constant flow of chakra so, like fire streams you cant change your chakra type or switch attack unless you stop the one your doing. im guessing that you cant change the direction of the attack since most of them strike one spot or move through the ground.

Combination: *I face the clone (which im assuming you made)...I preform the hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, then focus my fire chakra in my stomach. I make a ring around my mouth with my thumb and index finger and exhale a fire ball threw it*

The fireball ignites externally.

*As the fire ball hits the clone I focus my Lightning chakra all over my body creating an armor around me. i rush through the burning fire ball using the armor to protect me from the fire and tackle opponent shocking them with the armor.*

Strategies: You can use moves like wave of inspiration with a water technique to make the attack more powerful.

you can use Lightning strike armor the way i used it, to rush through a week fire technique or a B ranked earth technique and slam your self into the opponent

you can use moves like Flying Thunder God to stop Ariel summonings or if the opponenet goes into the air.

hmmm, the combination you used doesn't seem to practical to me. When you use your Fireball technique, you expect the counter to be water since that's the natural weakness. Though thats not a problem too much normally, however as you use the Lightning strike armor as your follow upp, you're assuming to run into your opponent and electrocute them. However should your opponent use a Water technique you face to harm yourself through that lightning strike armor.

Reasons why:

(1) The Fireball technique=C-ranked fire which is a rudimentary level technique. D-ranked water can neutralize it, C ranked can go through fairly easily. Anything else above will make the technique look like a joke. That being said, if youre opponent is at least C-rank in water they have a counter for this first technique of yours.

(2) In the likely event of your opponent using sed Water technique to defense, the chances of them doing so is more likely with that armor. If that water blows through your fire evaporating it, your (a) running into steam which could blind and burn you and (b) setting yourself up to be electrocuted with the water impacting you and you being surrounded in lightning.

Alright method three Melee attacks...in short Chidori and all it's varrients alright?

Now then, to begin I want you to focus a greate deal of chakra into one of your palms. You're going to focus the chakra precisely and have your lightning chakra vibrate in your hand ferociously however keep it contained as much as you can within your palm. You'll have some slight discharge but as long as you keep the mass within your hand, you should be alright. The vibration of the lightning chakra should end up creating a sound that resembles birds chirping. All I want you to do is to create it, I don't want you do do anything with it yet though.

*I hold my palm to the ground (like Sasuke). Then i focus my lighting chakra into my palm. The lightning starts vibrating and crackling in my hand*
Hmmmm....not enough...
*I focus more chakra into my hand. The Lightning forms around my hand and vibrates fiercely and i keep it contained in my palm with a few bolts coming off my palm and hitting the ground. As it forms in my palm it makes a sound like a thousand birds chirping*

Hmmm, descent. Now, while maintaining that focus and that mass of lightning in your hand, I want you to hold your hand out and I want you to add just a little more chakra into the mix of what you already have. However, this time you're going to increase the range of your technique. Using your hand as the starting point, extend the lightning outwards 10 meters while using precives chakra control and shape manipulation to give the lightning the shape of a narrow, sharp pointed spear. that rock over in the distance *points to a rock* should be within your reach. I want you to simply pierce it.
