Reason Why We're getting Fillers

I previously made a thread before how I think Gai vs Madara and the most upcoming antcipated fight will recieve bad quality animation simpily because the main top animators are still working on the Boruto Movie which I had assumed that they will be return back to produce the ongoing Naruto Shippuden by the time Infinite Tsukoymi is casted .

However I've come to realize that there are some fillers content in today episode and there will be some fillers next episode as well as there are some break.


In actuality, you guys should be glad that we are getting filler right now. At this moment, the core anime team is off working on the Boruto film. Therefore, that means the ones currently working on the anime are sub-par, at best.

That is why we got the horrible Chunin Exams Arc, the current Obito flashback, and why there will be no episode on June 18th. They are buying time until their main men are back. They are almost done with the film and will be returning to the anime shortly.

You may not think so, but it is actually very good that we are getting filler now. That way Gai vs. Madara, Naruto and Sasuke vs. Madara/Kaguya, and Naruto vs. Sasuke will look so godly. Isn't this a worthy sacrifice so that we get that awesome content in the future.

I would rather have a crusty animation with mostly dialogue with only few knock off battle and flashback than to have a crusty animation with full blown fights like Madara vs Gai.

Yeah Storm 4 will surpass the anime. The games usually do in all honesty. But I'm going to try to be optimistic...I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst. The only fight I know for a fact will be good is Naruto vs Sasuke

I was looking forward to six tails naruto vs pain and they made it a joke...atleast strom 2 gave it some justice (even then they couldn't just make hinata look impaled or finisher her sentence you could tell she was holding the rod between her arm and hip what did she faint from? running?) I expect guy vs madar will also be shat on.

The anime should go on for awhile! an with that said, there will be more fillers to come during guy's fight an throughout Naruto Sasuke Madara fight. Then there's still Naruto Sasuke an Kaguya fight, not to mention the whole Obito thing again when he dies for the 3rd time only to return to give power to Kakashi, more filler there too.

After this long I can get a laugh out of it, but 6 tails naruto vs pain was supposed to be serious not comedy they could have saved horrible animemation for the lols for a filler or maybe a scene thats not serious (well alot of that fight was filler the canon moments were animated decently)

Hinata vs Pain was done better than in the manga but in all honestly What's wrong with Madara animation?? There's nothing wrong with it, that was simply one of the best production choreography fights I've seen in Shippuden

I mean, I genuinely like how they animated the Pain Arc.

The famous pain episode actually had the best animation. It was the artwork that they failed horribly on. It was on par with Obito vs Kakashi and the Madara episode (animation wise of course).
I could see Guy vs Madara having good animation. They had 20+ episodes of filler, this filler (probably just an episode and a half), then this break on the 18th. That should be more than enough.

The reason I am saying this is because on FW's recent rant video (about the fillers), someone commented on the situation and it was word for word what you said.

To be fair, the actual fight doesn't start until chapter 669. Assuming next week is half filler/half canon, that would at least bring us to the end of chapter 666. Thus, the following episode (25th of june) should adapt 667-668 (an episode has an average of 2 chapters worth of content).
