Reason for Poor Artwork and Animation

I've seen some incredibly shit animations of Naruto over the past few months. Then, look at Kakashi vs Obito, godly. It gives me the impression that the animators are ****ing up deliberately.

Subtlety is big here in Japan, and by extension, passive-aggressiveness. I suspect a subtle protest of low pay that the management refuses to acknowledge, so the animators are bitter about it.

There's also a small chance of it being a business deal protest -- between TV Tokyo and the animation studio. If someone got a bad deal, they'd want to return the favor, slowly and without repercussions, of course.

I hate these poor animations too. I expected so much from last episodes. Original season is the best. I think they wanna close the anime thing fast as much as possible.

Different episodes have a different budget. Most episodes have a low budget, so that's why they look poorly. High budget episodes like Kakashi vs Obito, Madara vs SA etc. have better and more experienced animators to work on them. Anime isn't very profitable, so you can't take risks, and use up a lot of money on it.

That's exactly why they need to stop doing an episode every week and just do a season every one or two years. Sure it would take a long time for the anime to end but at least the animation quality, and pacing would be top notch. Totally worth the wait imo.

Look at how bad the animators f*cked up some of the greatest parts from the War arc. I'll name a few.

Obito as jinchuuriki (the entire time)
8 gates Gai
Madara vs the 5 Kage
RSM Naruto and Rinnegan Sasuke vs JJ Madara
Naruto and Killer Bee vs Tobi (before Kakashi and Gai arrived)

And there's a lot more that I haven't named. But yeah that animators have no excuse f*cking up the anime like this.
Hopefully the Era of horribly animated weekly animes end with Naruto and One Piece.

Excluding long running anime, the other anime have great animations, as for naruto, i think they are saving it for kaguya fight and naruto vs sasuke, there was a long list of demands by people in japan for the naruto s sasuke fight,Also naruto and sasuke vs jj madara wasnt bad, it was really done nicely at some points.
If i have to complain about animation of a particular anime, it would be dragon ball, for such a big franchise, it has not really impressed me till now except the 1st few episodes which were really great

That's not a valid response. You don't need to be able to do animation and art better to know whether the animation or art is good. The same way you don't need to be able to cook to tell something tastes good.

It's a lot of things. Low budget = low artwork and animation. They also put all their money and great animators on the last two movies (The Last and Boruto) while the actual anime gets the bad-average animators and artwork.

Most of the time if a episode has superb artwork, it has bad animation, or a episode gets amazing animation and has bad artwork (that famous Pain vs Naruto episode). It is very rare to have both amazing artwork and animation at the same time.

However, the episodes these past few months hasn't been terrible at all. The current episode (426) looked amazing, and when Might Guy did his final attack.

That's what I wanted for the last few years.
Season-anime are by default a billion times better than weekly-anime in Terms of Animation and artwork. But even Naruto hasn't been this bad back then. Even normal/low Budget episodes from the ame-orphans arc were BY FAR better than most war-arc episodes. Only two exceptions, in my opinion.

- Obito vs. Kakashi
- Madara vs. SA

Anything else was crap to me.
I want the times back, when the anime was soooo great and detailed. The Akatsuki-Arc and the Kage-Summit-Arc.. they were the edge of the anime quality.

Hopefully we get a shortened remake like DBZ Kai.

- much less flashbacks
- no filler (except for longer and better fights like Obito vs. Kakashi or Maddy vs. SA)

Nope, not whiny. But we don't take any shit that is thrown into our faces without questioning it.
One Piece is crap by default, Manga and Anime. The artwork/style itself is the worst I've ever seen.

I could be wrong but vote 1 and other battles were done by studio periot, and i believe the views that got is what set the precedent for that studio to do the big fights, some contracct or something.

i haven't seen much wrong with the episodes, you need to stop watching every week..
before i read manga i was jumping in my seed every week of epicness, often even with fillers..
then i started reading manga and all i did was complain about every episode, the epicness of everything was gone..
now i save up episodes (watched the chuunin filler arc when canon began, watched the canon till the infinite filler arc (with a few episodes from end 2014 to get into it a bit) etc.) and everything is great, i especially liked the gai and his father mostly filler episode and when gai was firing up night guy.

the only real thing (episode) that pops up in my mind where i was severely dissapointed with the artwork and animation (but it was still epic to me, this was when i didn't read manga yet) was the road runner pain episode. and also a bit how they depicted the kyuubi attack in the minato/kushina flashback

Please compare bad episodes from the Pain-Invasion arc or before with average or good episodes from the war arc. The old ones have still much better Animation/Artwort and of course, more detail.
