Reason for people getting upset on Konohamaru's characterization

It's simple we hoped too much from him because we believed the new author will think like Kishimoto now let me clear what I mean by that.

Kishimoto liked to make more and more characters with different powers and stories but Ikemoto and kodiachi seems to have different mindset now by this I am not trying to offend anyone every writer has his/her own style the thing is we were so used to kishimoto's style that we forgot that new writer can have a different style and this is the reason many fans of Naruto stopped reading or watching Boruto.

Let's hope that kodaichi atleast write good death of konohamaru against a worthy opponent.
