As said, I'm completely shocked at people's attitude towards Japan...sure, I can see a bit of justice in it, but it's too cruel and the past is past...:| I didn't even think that anyone would say something like this...
Would they even be saying this if WE had the earthquake?
sad.. :p but i think those people are just looser to comment like that... gosh.. just pray for people in japan and for all of us.. :D

It's just disgusting -_- Pearl Harbor is something from a completely different era and if you truly want to bring it up, you could say that both Japan and the USA are "even" now after all what's happened during WW II.

It would be wrong to say that all the Americans are like that, but come on these people are suffering and then some talk about retribution of Pearl Harbor and this:

This is exactly why Americans make me sick to my stomach.
They are way too proud and let old grudges like this blind their vision.
Ofc there are good people in America too but this kind of people make them disappear in the shadows.
This really makes me sad but there's nothing we can do about how people think.
It all evolves down from their redneck parents. They are just too ignorant to see the big picture.
Do they honestly think that these day Japanese or Americans actually like what has happened in the past, eighter way?

Stay Strong Japan!

I agree with everything you said there...
Man, I totally didn't think / remember that there would be reactions like these...
It sucks...

Why the **** are these Americans complaining about Pearl Harbor after bombing two japanese cities with nuclear bombs. I mean, if you can't stand the losses of playing then don't play. This country was supposed to win the war but instead, they just wallow in sadness.

I get the fact that Americans feel that this is sort of Karma paying Japan back for Pearl Habour and what happened in the past. But people need to start facing the facts that some of the older generation lived through the terrible nuclear fall out after pearl habour. And to face a second threat like that must be unthinkable! And remember most Japanese folk were inocent (Hiroshima and Nagasaki). Hence people should be more sensitive before posting crap like "Payback for Pearl Harbour".

My prayers are with those in Japan.<3

By the way, I'm South African and putting the past behind us is a daily issue. Think before you post!!!

Those are just sad losers who feel safe behind a computer. I tell you, these people are such cowards to take this crisis as an opportunity to voice their sad little thoughts over the net.

If somebody where to ever talk that garbage in front of me, it will not end pleasant

People seem to be ignorant about that Pearl Harbor was pretty much a military base, and that Americans already got their payback when they wiped two cities off the maps, Nagasaki and Hiroshima... Those people who posted that shit on facebook, and all those who thinks that the earthquake was a positive think are fckin retards.

They have no idea what the atomic bombs did to Japan... the people that lived in that era were affected by so much radiation, that their descendants are still being born with radiation... 70 years later.

Sigh, there's nothing to add that hasn't been said.

How can half of people who post this stuff think of revenge when they have never suffered from the results of those past events that have happened...

I really dont even care for my country anymore I actually stopped caring about my country when the whole iraq stuff started going on...
now i just see it as a place to live...
to be completely honest there isn't any words that could describe how ashamed I am of my country but i'm happy to have family and friends that aren't like those people "that were in Grim's original post" but instead are sad about what happen to japan.

I'm sure there's people around the world who made comments picking fun about the tsunami... they're called idiots.

Doesn't make me less proud of my country though, seeing as that's a fraction of the 300 million people that live in this country.

Thats why out of all the races on this plannet, the japanese hold my highest respect, no other race is as pleasant and respectable then the japanese
I guess you overlook the thousands of dolphins they kill every year then feed to their own people, knowing that Dolphin meat has mercury in it...

Seems very pleasant and respectable.

@Zerabitu

You clearly don't know much about American society if you can't even use the term Red Neck properly, so your opinion is void.

Stay Strong Japan!

Stop assuming that all or the majority of Americans act like this, because thats just completly fales.

The reason why you hear the voices of the "idiot" Americans is because evey body else pushes their voices and comments towards the for front of every bodies attention.

I know someone posted how the Japanese military attacked the Pearl Harbor naval base unprovoked and than at the end of the war the USA dropped two Atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Two things that weren't mention about the bomb drops was that the USA actually detonated a bomb off the coast of Japan hoping that doing so would cause the Japanese Emperor to surrender as the American President did not want to drop the bomb on mainland Japan. Now keep in mind that I'm not saying that it was a good idea or that we were right in dropping the bombs, just wanted to let that known before this next comment. but the Pacific war was going to end in Japan one way or another. By the time the decision was made to drop the two Atomic Bombs, alternate plans were being made to invade Japan. Now imagine that if America did go with the plan to invade Japan, millions of lives would have been lost and most likely the war would have lasted another couple months or years instead of weeks. Again i'm not saying that either decision was the right decision, but the American president choose the lesser of two evils. A million+ lives and billions of dollars in damages to cities and keeps a massive war going longer or two cities, hundreds of thousand lives lost and a few million dollars worth of damage that ends a war quickly.

Anyways, not all Americans are spiteful and evil, infact the majority are the opposite. Its just the voices of those that are dumb, uneducated and spiteful are made louder and pushed towards the forefront of every bodies attention.

those jackasses should google atomic bomb death toll, and its consequences

there was war and noone was blameless, the history narrated it and 1939 executed it, it was centuries turmoil blended into a few dark years

Not respect other people's opinions? I'm just saying that you are overstating the greatness of the Japanese culture. They're human, just like everyone else.

And driving forklifts? Wtf are you talking about?

If you're going to try and insult me at least try and use proper grammar, and spelling. What you just said makes no sense.
