But a vacation is just an escape from the work is it not? If the World didn't have money, you could be doing all those things all the time.

If the world didn't have money, then something else would define power and who has it. It used to be land, it used to be food. Now it's money. And honestly, this organization leads to stability. Without any kind of pattern, we would engane conflits for power all over again.

And you don't have to wait for vaction, there are the weekends, free time after work, etc.

But life isn't a golden rainbow in which you ride a shiny charizard towards the sea of chocolate. You have to "battle" in order to achieve something. That battle is now work.
