Sitting here feeling so self conscious

I lost what was to me most precious

They're all fools for thinking they have any power

Some parents choose a bad baby sitter
And some world leaders decide to seal the fate
Of a thousand men and women all over the place
While a cop chooses to abuse his authority & mace

For me it is considerably simple
Or at least that is what I thought
Just like popping a hormone driven pimple
But Happiness & love can't be bought
Am I choosing right or am I choosing wrong
