how can we speculate like that? we dont know if there will be a second truamatic event to make sasuke vow to get stronger. or who is selected as his jounin trainer. butterfly effect guys. no clan massacre =no coup. so sasukes dad likely will train him how to use his sharingan. and oro will still give him the curse seal. so sasuke would have immense chakra.

people don't understand that he would be an entirely different character if the massacure never happened. His whole damn backstory is "all my people were killed". Thats ****ing it. If that wasn't there, the logical progression of events would most likely have him be ambitious, but in a different way.

He would be working to not be overshadowed by his older brother, little brother syndrome. He would be a more optimistic (shocking huh?) and would work just so he could overcome Itachi, but not kill him. It would be a less serious undertone of ambition, I'd say he'd make Anbu, hell Danzo may have even picked him up for Root.

Without the clan massacre Sasuke wouldn't be trained under Kakashi or team 7. He would still be learning from his clan and dealing with more advanced standards. By learning from the sharigan trainers around him, he will probably be stronger than he was before going to Oro. It's also not far fetched to say Sasuke would have gained MS 1 way or another seeing as his father was the leader and the sons being prodigies. In fact it should be expected of Sasuke to learn how to wake his Ms one way or another. ITachi would still die from his disease allowing Sasuke to become the next Madara.

All Sasuke has to experience is a trauma to awaken the MS, if the uchiha clan massacre didn't happen, there would of been a civil war between konoha and the uchiha clan. And what if during the civil war, sasuke's mom or dad, his friends, or even itachi got killed in front of him? He would of awaken the MS.

Itachi still would of died from the disease. Potential for Sasuke to awaken MS.

Then there's Shisui, Itachi, Sasuke's dad teaching him their special moves. He would of been as strong as he currently is IMO...

+ didn't Madara and Izuna awaken there MS through hard work? IMO Sasuke would of aswell..

I agree with Dantee wholeheartedly. Itachi was going to die either way. Someone else would have had developed MS as well, opening way for double MS Pairs to develop a single EMS. Sasuke would have gained EMS regardless, either through Itachi or someone else in his clan. It is inevitable. In fact, I think he would have been stronger, by learning more advanced Katon styles and the secret scrolls of Uchiha and their experimentation with MS techniques which led Madara to develop his EMS. This is clearly explained in Itachi's explanation to Sasuke and the development of Eternal Light.

what war? there wouldnt have been any war at all. since when does coup mean war? a coup is a hostile takeover, not a war. and if uchihas couldnt take over, within that one night then they would be massacred. and i doubt fugaku would lead a clan vs a whole military unless he was sure he could win in a night and consolidate power. he never struck me as an idiot.

and besides with itachi on their side, and probably shisui, they can do just that. make konoha stronger than ever
