Rate Naruto intellegent without Kurama present

In terms of battle strategy, he's almost a genius. I give him a 4. He's not quite on the Kakashi, Shikamaru level but he's still a genius.

kakashi have more experience... not smart

Considering the Databooks always rate the character in base mode, I'm taking that rating. A 3 out of 5. Though he possibly deserves a 3.5 where he is at now.

so naruto after grow in last databook in 1.5 in intelligence... you really think that naruto get only 0.5 points ? lol

I'll give him a 3, he's got battle intelligence and he learns as he goes during a fight. He's just a bit forgetful and rash sometimes

But in battles he becomes more to-the point and tactical shinobi...
I think 4 isn't enough but 4.5 seems a bit high w/o Kurama... So, I voted 4...

I find it a little weird how people think he hasn't grown at all since the last databook (His intelligence was 3) , considering the fact it came out in 2008, I'm sure Naruto has gotten smarter since then I really doubt he's below 3.5

With Kurama, who himself is an ultimately experienced and knowledge-ful entity... Naruto is a complete 5 in intelligence...

Yes, I do. Naruto matured during Part 1 and Part 2. I don't think he will grow another 1.5. 4.5/5 is way too generous.

Yes, he's clearly improved. I'll try to find the actual time the third databook was released and give you a clearer example. But the time when he used a shadow clone to block killer Bee's student sword shows he's now able to use clones a lot more effectively than fodder.
