They're brushes not renders. I used to have those lightning brushes back in the day.

I'm just going to go ahead and tell you to shush... Unless you feel like being constructive, then don't post. Same to you pesche...

Anyway, masterpanda, try to include your effects not only behind your render, but in front, and besides your focal point(in your case, hitsugaya). Foreground, middleground, background. If you have all of these your piece will have depth. Don't think of your sig as just a render on a background.

Search some places like deviantart and planet renders for some tutorials. There will be there a lot to help you there.
