rasengan vs chidori

They are equal, they have went up against each other three times and it was a draw each time.

I prefer the chidori tbh, I think it has more killing potential than the rasengan.

Rasengan was already proven superior but Chidori can be used in other ways so it depends on the situation.

Plus, overall Rasengan is far superior, Chidori already has nature manipulation so it's as strong as it can possibly be, rasengan is just a base shape manipulated and no elements. So you can easily put nature elements in it that make rasengan far superior, even now because Rasengan has no nature manipulation they aren't on an "equal" playing field and even with that disadvantage in mind rasengan is still very roughly equal.

Both are equal.It just depends on the user,considering how skilled he is at using it.

Base Rasengan never loses to Base Chidori. But if you consider their uses overall, I think Chidori offers more in the way of shape manipulation.. Sasuke has been able to make it into a huge sword and hit Deidara in the sky lol. Also you can make it into kirin and probably lots of other shapes. Rasengan seems to only be able to turn into Oodama Rasengan and FRS.

If this is a duel between base naruto and base sasuke,then chidori,cuz sasuke had gone through danzo and fought kakashi briefly,was near blindness and still matched a fresh naruto with his chidori,so i think his chidori at healthy status is stronger than one from base naruto.

Rasengan has just appealed to me more. I think it looks more special than chidori... and i kinda want it to become better than chidori but that probably won't happen
