It's known as Raikiri to some people because of the legend that "Kakashi Cut Lightning using Chidori", thus people nicknamed it Raikiri, which literally means to cut lightning or lightning edge however you wanna put it. Again the move used was Chidori, it wasnt a different technique.

It killed (only rasengan) multiple Zetsu clones, 4 out of six paths of pain, with help of rasengan Naruto took out Sandaime Raikage ( I know rasengan didn't kill him ). That's all i can remember.

Zetsu's, though clones were alive.

I disagree with calling Pain bodies dead, if they were dead they wouldn't have to be resurrected, even though these six body was one conscious mind, steered by one mind, these body were dying from taking damage, it was clearly shown in manga.

There is a difference.

Raikiri is an S-ranked jutsu while Chidori is only an A-Rank. So the name isn't the only difference between the two.
