Why did she have the initial expression mark when the only change in her situation was Sakura's appearance? The first expression marks were clearly to indicate her noticing Sakura. The "?!!" happened because Sakura was way faster than she'd thought. Moments like these aren't uncommon.

We can only speculate...but, what we know she did fear was Hagoromo's seals.
Now, suppose she tried the same stunt as when she first shifted them to the Ice dimension and froze them. Except, this time Sasuke is prepared for it and immediately uses Amaterasu/Flame control to melt the ice or prevent getting frozen in the first place. He and Naruto would have a chance to touch her with the seals.
That is what i believe she was worried about.

Kaguya's final moments were distasteful due to:
1) Sakura being there
2) Kakashi being there
3) Kakashi having FULL god chakra flowing in his veins is neg diff
4) Kakashi being far more experienced and older played a bitch role
5) Kaguya was too motherly and never really did want to harm her "children" despite of raving about destroying them
6) Why and how was Sakura even there?
7) Tenseigan and Rinnegan weren't used
8) BZ could've done more
9) Her appearance acted more like a highlight reel of her abilities which might I add only showcased Part 1 abilities.
I mean the only thing that was different was her dimension travels and the last TSO tech which never came into fruition. Otherwise, all her tech have been just Part 1 techs on major steroids.

Yes, it was lackluster...but, it was still within common sense.
People were quick to call her brainless and downplay her ability to analyz the situation while fighting. Yet, no one has come up with a logical action she could've taken to escape T7's final plan.
