Alrighty lets get this thing going. Note due to your rank I can only teach up to A-Rank for you. Now lets begin...Tell me everything you know of raiton. Its weaknesses, strengths, abilities and uses in battles. How do you feel for the element. Just pour out everything, the more the better.

Raiton is one of the 5 basic elements of The Shinobi World. Its weakness is Fuuton since its the natural insulator. Raiton is strong against Doton since its destructive power can easily overpower Doton. Raiton is mainly used in offensive. With its strong attacks, a single move can easily obliterate a foe in any given time. Raiton is used commonly in Kumogakure.

Lighting chakra, personally I consider it one of my favorite elements. Its a intense element with high frequency and speed, which makes this element the most toughest to control but, very lethal if used correctly. Now if I had to some up why Lighting is such a good element its basically because of its attacking potential though it has been spotted to with abilities for defense and supplementary its obvious to say lighting is much more known for its attacking ability then anything else.
Ways how lighting is such a potent element in its respected field of offense is because of the ways you use lighting in the hope of battle, lighting is a element that pierces, shocks, paralyzes and in some cases can burn. What I mean by burn is lets say we send a lighting attack towards a tree, the tree will catch flame, if I send lighting to armor, the armor will sometimes be burned and to hot to use.
Now lighting is great to use for combos which again just adds to its attack potential. One way that is a obvious one like water, sending lighting towards water, the water acts as a insulator and makes the lighting travel through the water increasing the attack abilities of water and shocking the opponent. One with fire Depends on the type of lighting and fire jutsu, quite frankly if you add the two it would shock and burn the opponent at the same time. Lets say we added a lighting jutsu like false lighting spear (S-Rank) and sent it towards the opponent, then added a fire stream (A-Rank) the spear would be engulfed in fire, so when it hits the opponent it will pierce through him and shock the area like how lighting is supposed to be, but also be burned badly with the fire added.
The ideas go on and on with how lighting can be used. Lightning is strong against earth because it can easily travel through and break the ground apart but weak against wind because it is a natural electrical insulator.
Also a added note lighting is not as fast as regular natural lighting. Lighting we make out of chakra runs as fast but nowhere near the speed of natural lighting.

*Soma, now ready for his first technique channels his chakra into his arms, accumulating it to his fingertips. Whilst doing that, Soma then manipulated the chakra inside of his arms, violently vibrating the chakra to generate lighting chakra. Completely changing my chakra into Lightning Chakra, Soma then aimed his fingers at the dummy as he release all the chakra from his fingertips, causing small lightning bolts to protrude from his fingers and strike the dummy, causing it to be ripped in shreds.
At the bold, that is very nice and I like the descriptive ability. Just so you know its called Nature manipulation.
(Raiton: Raikou Oonami) - Lightning Release: Lightning Surge

Description: The user will concentrate their chakra and slam their hand on the ground to release a surge of lightning across the ground to the opponents feet to shock them.
Same as before ocus on your chakra system and gather your raw chakra from all over your body. Send the chakra through your arm all the way to the palm of your hand. Manipulate the nature of the chakra into raiton chakra and slam your hand on the ground and release a surge of lightning through the ground towards the dummy standing next to me. The lightning will shock the dummy from underneath.

I quickly focus as my raw chakra diffuse throughout my body. After that, I then channel my chakra into my arms as I overflow it to my fingertips. After accumulating my raw chakra, I then use Nature Manipulation, molding the chakra by vibrating my chakra violently, generating lighting chakra. Okay the description is not much to work with but I will try to explain it best. This is very similar to the previous jutsu we learned. Focus your chakra and channel it to one of your hands, and then change your chakra into lightning as you release it forward. Manipulate the released lightning into a wave of small lightning bolts that you shoot at the dummy. and...GO!

*Focusing in my raw chakra, I then channel it to dominant arm as I gather as much chakra as possible. Positioning his right arm into a slashing motion, I then use Nature Manipulation, Vibrating the chakra to generate lightning chakra. Upon converting my chakra, I then use my left foot for momentum as I swing while releasing my chakra, unleashing a wave of bolts to travel and strike the dummy violently.
Done with the D-Ranks.

After performing some hand seals the user will send a electric current from the hand which can attack several different targets of your choosing. Now its very handy because how far it can travel, it also has the ability to avoid obstacles that is covering your opponent. Its a streaming type technique so you will have to keep releasing it and focus on the technique for it travel, dodge, and hit the opponent. Overall its a great finishing combo technique making it hard on the opponent.

Okay now its a simple technique and it vary from being a projectile or a streaming technique, depends on how you use it. The user will send lightning into their hands and release it towards an opponent sending a wave of electricity. You can send a short stream making it a projectile or continue to send it to make it a streaming tech. You can use it with a water technique. Its fast to perform and simple. Its rather straightforward though making evasion easy.

Very much similar like the previous one, the user will gather lightning on the palm of their hand, condense it into a electrical ball of energy. The user will then proceed to throw it towards the opponent. It travels very fast to an opponent, its a projectile and its fast to make.

Focusing on my chakra, I then channel it through my hands as I perform 3 hand seals: Tiger > Snake > Dog. After that, I then quickly vibrate my chakra violently, soon generating Raiton Chakra. Kneeling down, I then pound my hand into the ground as I release a vast wave of lightning to rip through obstacles, striking the dummy.
Creative uses/strengths:
This is nearly a perfect technique to my perspective. There are many possibilities to strike the opponent without him seeing it before hand. Even as if the setting of which your battle takes place, the lightning can break through and strike the opponent. Also a good combo in conjunction with Suiton.
Drawbacks/counters:
Although it is a powerful technique, it has its drawbacks. Since the attack is traveling beneath the opponent, the opponent can easily avoid it by Leaping to the air. This can be countered by using D-Rank Wind.
I then gather chakra in my hands while generating it, molding and vibrating to merge Raiton Chakra. Positioning myself, I then perform a Diagonal slash while releasing my chakra all at once, creating a wave of lightning that cuts the dummy in half
Creative uses/strengths:
As said above, this is a great move in conjunction with Suiton. Also since its sort of "closer", the opponent might not have a chance for evasion. Also it can be used in various of ways
Drawbacks/counters:
Honestly I think its a shitty move. Since it is short, it can easily by countered. The user can be damaged if not carefully used with Suiton. All for all, a really bad move.

All because jutsus go short range does not make them bad, actually the second jutsu is great to combo with close range battle.
(Raiton: Raigeki no Yoroi) - Lightning Release: Lightning Strike Armour

Description: The user surrounds themselves with electricity. The intense electric field protects them by electrocuting anyone who comes into contact with it, but only works for one attack.
I like this technique, was my first ever favorite. Now its very fast to perform and set up. This jutsu when active stays active for more then one turn unless already used to block an attack or attack an opponent when in range. Also this gives you a serious advantage in short range battle. Especially if used correctly when you get in range, set it up and take the fight head on. A huge downfall is you are completely open for water attacks, one hit of water and you will be shocked better, its easy for an opponent to figure it out as well since the lightning is visible and you can hear the cracking of lightning, use with caution.
(Raiton: Iwa Nadare) - Lightning Style: Stone Avalanche

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together when near a cliff , the user causes stone and rock to become dislodged and rain down on anyone below it by releasing a wave of electrical energy which weakens the rock and makes it fall as it crumbles. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.
Okay this technique has some serious explanation. Okay the user will do two hand seals and clap their hands, they keep their hands clapped together which puts the user at disadvantage since if they let their hands go the jutsu will be released and the jutsu will stop. So while keeping their hands together they will run up a cliff while sending a electrical surge towards the cliff allowing the rocks to losen causing a rock avalanche to happen. The rocks will be very thick with debris and have chunks of rocks which can harm an opponent if caught though this technique is best used with combo, after you send the rocks. You can release your hands and perform a technique of any kind, I prefer to use a quick jutsu that can go through the debris and attack the opponent before they can react. Now ways to counter are simple, you can use a wind jutsu to blow the rocks and debris away without any effort. Funny thing is though lightning is used to set the jutsu, the rocks cause the damage to happen to a opponent. This is very location based making it difficult to use just anywhere. Be weary and concentrate on your terrain. Also while you are running the rocks are being dislodged so rocks will constantly fall while you run.
(Raiton: Shuurai Rappa no Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Lightning Strike Horn Technique

Description: The user will raise their hand infront of them like a sword and it will begin glowing a pale yellow before releasing bolts of lightning in the shapt of a horn that spread outwards allowing it to attack multiple targets.
Okay the user will raise their hands infront of themselves like a sword. It will begin to glow and release bolts of lightning shaped as a horn. This is very simple and fast to perform. A projectile based technique so you can sent constant attacks following this one. The most notable and best part of the jutsu is it spreads outwards giving it the ability to attack more then one target in the area. That is a huge plus if you are out numbered. Also its clear so you can see through it. Being a projectile justu and a wide spread technique you can use this in combos in a multitude of ways. Making the ground shake and send it towards the opponent or hurt the opponents vision and sending it forward making it hard to notice it. Another one is is their is ever a mist or debris of smoke between the fighters you can use this technique as a way to attack the user and know it will spread wide enough to hit an opponent. Ways to counter is it goes straight and spreads only wide. Going in the air or underground can work but be weary how. Later on you can use another raiton jutsu to cut through it. Fairly simple.

Focusing chakra within my body, I then surround myself with it whilst vibrating my chakra in such a fast paste to create Raiton chakra. After molding my chakra, I then let out all the chakra, causing a blanket of lightning to engulf around me.
Creative uses/strengths:
This jutsu is quite useful than the other typical C-Rank Jutsus. This serves a purpose of defense and offense. This is also great within short range battles and can easily shock an opponent within reach.
Drawbacks/counters:
Although an excellent move, it has its weaknesses. Since you are completely surrounded with lightning, a single splash of water can eradicate you as said above. Also, it can take one attack. So that means a barrage of Wind Techs overpower the Lightning Strike Armour.
Focusing chakra within my hands, I then find a suitable cliff as I sprint across it. Whilst running, I then wave Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together as I molded my chakra to Raiton chakra. Compressing all my chakra, I then release a electrical surge which races across the cliff, causing a massive avalanche to rain down from the cliff.
Creative uses/strengths:
Another great jutsu. This jutsu has many variety of conjunctions. The one I got it mind is to use this to trap an opponent whilst using swamp of the underworld to drown the user with mud.
Drawbacks/counters:
The jutsu has some weaknesses. To perform this move, you would have to find a cliff perfect enough to achieve this jutsu. Also, you would have to wave handseals as well.
Focusing chakra within my right arm, I then raise my hand infront whilst molding my chakra to Raiton Chakra. This is like the Electric Attack. It can easily hit multiple targets. Also a great conjunction with the Stone avalanche since it is fast to perform.
Drawbacks/counters:
Since it travels horizontally, the opponent can easily jump above the jutsu. Also it would be half the power since it is divided.
Focusing chakra within my body, I then surround myself with it whilst vibrating my chakra in such a fast paste to create Raiton chakra. After molding my chakra, I then let out all the chakra, causing a blanket of lightning to engulf around me.
Creative uses/strengths:
This jutsu is quite useful than the other typical C-Rank Jutsus. This serves a purpose of defense and offense. This is also great within short range battles and can easily shock an opponent within reach.
Drawbacks/counters:
Although an excellent move, it has its weaknesses. Since you are completely surrounded with lightning, a single splash of water can eradicate you as said above. Also, it can take one attack. So that means a barrage of Wind Techs overpower the Lightning Strike Armour.
Focusing chakra within my hands, I then find a suitable cliff as I sprint across it. Whilst running, I then wave Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together as I molded my chakra to Raiton chakra. Compressing all my chakra, I then release a electrical surge which races across the cliff, causing a massive avalanche to rain down from the cliff.

Another great jutsu. This jutsu has many variety of conjunctions. The one I got it mind is to use this to trap an opponent whilst using swamp of the underworld to drown the user with mud.
Drawbacks/counters:
The jutsu has some weaknesses. To perform this move, you would have to find a cliff perfect enough to achieve this jutsu. Also, you would have to wave handseals as well.

You can not dodge jutsus free-form, you can though use a water pillar to thrust yourself in the air to evade.

While controlling the weapons, the user cannot mold chakra for other techniques and needs to keep focus.
Okay with the use of a sword, the user will channel lightning into the sword increasing its destructive abilites. They will then manipulate the chakra in the sword to have it levitate in front of them. The using shape manipulating multiply the sword creating another two physical copies made of lightning. They then spin rapidly which finally a user will send towards the opponent cutting them badly if hit. Okay this is a slow performance technique as well as you must remain concentrated to execute perfectly. They move at normal speed as well. To be honest I'm on the edge of this though you have many projectile attacks you must remain focus for the duration of the performance and it certainly takes a while to perform despite being a very sharp jutsu. I recommend you try to distract the opponent before you use this technique to have a large enough time window to perform perfectly. It can at least attack multiple targets which is a plus.

When the begin to descend back to the ground they will forcefully slam their palm on the ground sending a electrical energy through the ground up to a 5 meter radius everywhere in short range, you can also send it forward towards an opponent. Its easy but your vulnerable in the air so watch out and since this is mainly to use for close range battle the opponent can easily react quickly. Also right when you release the lightning in the ground you can go straight to another jutsu with quick succession. This can also great away earth material that may be under you, so its great to break away spikes as well.

Taking my sword, I then focus on my chakra as I convert it to Raiton Chakra. Whilst doing that, i then channel it to my sword, causing a blanket of lightning to conceal my sword. Using the remaining chakra, I then make two copies of the sword by using raw lightning chakra, which i then control with hand gestures.
Creative uses/strengths:
This move is quite nice to use, kinda reminds me of Noctis and his swords. Anyways with this, you can use it to defend or attack, at the same time almost. Also,this is ideal for close range battles
Drawbacks/counters:
While using this technique you cannot use other techs while this is on. Also said above, takes time to perform.

The wall of lightning will cover the opponents entire position from top to bottom. It is made exactly short range of the user as well and the wall being made of lightning means the user can see through it fine to notice the opponent. Also its great to use if an opponent is trying to get in to close for a taijutsu battle, for if they are hit by the wall they will be shocked badly and pushed back by the shocks impact. The wall can easily be overpowered.

Since it only covers frontal view of the opponent you can still attack from behind or the sides this will force them to have to use another tech making for a proper counter as well as many others.
