Shadou approaches the training area where he would meet his fellow village mate to continue his training in the element of ration. Shadou had decided to stop training with the man who had previously trained him with lightning to train with a man he was more familiar with. While waiting on his newest senpai, Shadou starts to repeatedly tap his foot.

Shadou spreads his feet apart and brings his hands before his chest, quickly weaving together three hand seals of the tiger, snake, and dog. While performing the hand seals, the chakra within Shadou starts to gather as he envisions the nature of lightning. He channels this ration chakra towards his right hand, creating an electrical current that surrounded it. He then swings his right hand outward, releasing the current. The lightning struck multiple locations throughout the training area.

Okay my dear student here are the first set of techniques I will show you.

(Raiton: Jibashi) - Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder
Rank: C

Range: Short

Damage Points: 30 (+5 if used in conjunction with a water jutsu)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity from the user's hands. This jutsu can vary in power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is ideal to use in conjunction with a water jutsu.

Okay now its a simple technique and it vary from being a projectile or a streaming technique, depends on how you use it. The user will send lightning into their hands and release it towards an opponent sending a wave of electricity. You can send a short stream making it a projectile or continue to send it to make it a streaming tech. You can use it with a water technique. Its fast to perform and simple. Its rather straightforward though making evasion easy.

Description: The user surrounds themselves with electricity. The intense electric field protects them by electrocuting anyone who comes into contact with it, but only works for one attack.

The user will send lightning all over their body creating a armor. It can protect against projectiles and simple attacks. It easy and fast to perform also if you get get into contact with an opponent it sends a electric charge hurting the opponent. Only for one attack then its released. Your also a walking target for water attacks.

Combinations-strategies
Because this technique is quick, I can open up my assault by first performing this technique to shock my opponent and then follow up with another jutsu. This technique adds a few more points in damage if used in conjunction with a water jutsu, so I could perform this technique and then follow up with a water technique to douse my opponent and possibly paralyze him.

Ways to counter this technique
Sending a wind technique in the form of a wide stream and of correct rank to push this technique back would be a good way to counter. Maybe using the wind stream technique to lift myself into the air and create distance would be a good way to counter.

Combinations-strategies
Using a water technique such as water bullet to douse my opponent then sending this technique to shock them would be a good combination. Using a technique capable of trapping my opponent or blinding them, then sending this quick technique is sure to hit my opponent.

Ways to counter this technique
Performing a wind technique to push this technique back and possibly return damage to my opponent. If carrying a sword, the wind technique ferocious wind can send the technique away. A technique that forms a tornado in front of the target, can prove to be a good way to defend.

If my opponent is moving in to perform a taijutsu technique or lower ranked kenjutsu technique, I could quickly call forth the shield to electrocute him.

Ways to counter this technique
Using a large enough water technique like water bullet to douse my opponent while he is covered in electricity is a good way to counter this technique. Any water technique really would be a good way to counter. A powerful enough gust of wind should push the electricity covering the user away.

Okay a very simple technique, the user will send a wave of raiton energy from their hands towards the opponent. Depending on how the user uses the technique it can be a stream or a projectile technique. Now it is very simply nothing much to it, its straightforward and moves normal speed. Its best to use with a water technique to give it a more potential attack. Its fast to perform as well. I recommend using this as a projectile technique so you can send one attack after the other to make it harder on the opponent. Now due to it being a straightforward technique evasion is simple as well as blocking. You can use a wind technique to negate. Also with lightning properties if contacted with it, the opponent will be shocked.

I like this technique, was my first ever favorite. Now its very fast to perform and set up. This jutsu when active stays active for more then one turn unless already used to block an attack or attack an opponent when in range. Also this gives you a serious advantage in short range battle. Especially if used correctly when you get in range, set it up and take the fight head on. A huge downfall is you are completely open for water attacks, one hit of water and you will be shocked better, its easy for an opponent to figure it out as well since the lightning is visible and you can hear the cracking of lightning, use with caution.

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake โ†’ Upside down Tiger โ†’ Hands clapped together and running up a cliff face, the user causes stone and rock above him to become dislodged and rain down past him onto his opponents below by releasing a wave of electrical energy. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

Okay with 2 hand seals and running up a cliff with their hands clapped together, the user will send lightning towards the cliff dislodging the rocks in the cliff and causing the rocks to begin raining down on the opponent. Now this technique is very location based. Also you must have your hands clapped together while running up so you can continue to release the lightning.

Underused technique that deserves some credit. The user will raise their hands in front of them and release lightning towards their hand creating a glowing pale yellow color in their hands then quickly release bolts of lightning shaped of a horn. Its spreads outwards while traveling allowing you to attack multiple targets. Fast and easy to perform. Projectile as well pretty darn quick.

Description: The user will channel their lightning chakra into their sword to increase its cutting capabilities, and then levitate it in front of them. They will then multiply the sword creating two extra physical copies which are then all manipulated to spin rapidly and are controlled to fly towards and cut through the opponent/s.

Okay you need a sword out, the user will channel lightning into the sword increasing its destructive abilites. They will then manipulate the chakra in the sword to have it levitate in front of them. The using shape manipulating multiply the sword creating another two physical copies made of lightning. They then spin rapidly which finally a user will send towards the opponent cutting them badly if hit. Okay this is a slow performance technique as well as you must remain concentrated to execute perfectly. They move at normal speed as well.

If fighting in an area with a cliff, I could first use a technique capable of trapping my opponent or a technique that will blind my opponent ( ex. Hiding in mist/sight deprivation combo) giving me just enough time to run up a cliff and perform this technique.

Ways to counter this technique
Obvious answer would be to keep my opponent from running up a cliff. If I see my opponent start to make his way towards a cliff, I can use an earth technique to trap him before he gets the chance to prepare the move or send a quick fire or wind technique before he reaches the cliff. If the move has already been performed, I can use a technique to boost me into the air, evading the rocks.

Since the technique is slow, I wouldnโ€™t recommend opening up with it. If at short range using a wind technique capable of pushing your opponent back to mid while setting up this technique could be a possible way to use this move. Sending one quick lightning technique to shock your opponent then performing this technique could be a good combo.

Ways to counter this technique
Using any quick technique, especially in short range, capable of distracting and breaking my opponents concentration would be a way to counter. I would assume that using a gust of wind would blow away the electric swords and the original swords which would prevent my opponent from using kenjutsu techniques

Okay this technique has some serious explanation. Okay the user will do two hand seals and clap their hands, they keep their hands clapped together which puts the user at disadvantage since if they let their hands go the jutsu will be released and the jutsu will stop. So while keeping their hands together they will run up a cliff while sending a electrical surge towards the cliff allowing the rocks to losen causing a rock avalanche to happen. The rocks will be very thick with debris and have chunks of rocks which can harm an opponent if caught though this technique is best used with combo, after you send the rocks. You can release your hands and perform a technique of any kind, I prefer to use a quick jutsu that can go through the debris and attack the opponent before they can react. Now ways to counter are simple, you can use a wind jutsu to blow the rocks and debris away without any effort. Funny thing is though lightning is used to set the jutsu, the rocks cause the damage to happen to a opponent. This is very location based making it difficult to use just anywhere. Be weary and concentrate on your terrain. Also while you are running the rocks are being dislodged so rocks will constantly fall while you run.

Okay the user will raise their hands infront of themselves like a sword. It will begin to glow and release bolts of lightning shaped as a horn. This is very simple and fast to perform. A projectile based technique so you can sent constant attacks following this one. The most notable and best part of the jutsu is it spreads outwards giving it the ability to attack more then one target in the area. That is a huge plus if you are out numbered. Also its clear so you can see through it. Being a projectile justu and a wide spread technique you can use this in combos in a multitude of ways. Making the ground shake and send it towards the opponent or hurt the opponents vision and sending it forward making it hard to notice it. Another one is is their is ever a mist or debris of smoke between the fighters you can use this technique as a way to attack the user and know it will spread wide enough to hit an opponent. Ways to counter is it goes straight and spreads only wide. Going in the air or underground can work but be weary how. Later on you can use another raiton jutsu to cut through it. Fairly simple.

Description: The user will manipulate their lightning chakra in their dominant hand generating electrical bolts of lightning around their forearm and they then jump into the air. The user will then land slamming their palm onto the ground causing the electrical energy to become discharged sending out bolts of lightning into the ground and around them up to 5 meters.

The user will gather a large sum of lightning chakra into their hand and forearm, then they will jump high into the air. When the reach the ground they will forcefully slam their palm on the ground sending a electrical energy through the ground up to a 5 meter radius, you can also send it forward towards an opponent. Its easy but your vulnerable in the air. Also right when you release the lightning in the ground you can fo straight to another jutsu.

Description: The user manipulates their chakra and then releases it in front of them whilst holding their hands out and they generate a wall of lightning energy that can defend against certain techniques. The user can use this defence to shock enemy targets who attempt close range combat and deliver a small electrical shock that can temporarily reduce their physical capabilities.

The user will put their hands in front of them and release lightning. They manipulate the lightning shape to become a wall which can easily block most projectile attacks and can be good to use in close range battle if used correctly. It would take a second to generate the wall but if a opponent is touched their physcial abilities are reduced for one turn, basically they are not as fast or strong.

Once the lightning is running through the ground, the user could perform another quick jutsu to strike their opponent quickly with two attacks. Dousing my opponent with a large enough water technique (water bullet) followed by this technique will inflict extra damage.

Ways to counter this technique
While the user is in the air, I could direct a stream of water at their arm surrounded by the lightning chakra to break their chakra control and temporarily paralyze them. While in the air, I could use the wind stream technique to push myself out of distance. Aiming a wind technique at my opponent to push him back or the lightning around his arm could work.

  • โ€“ Leaves the opponent open for an attack while shielded -
  • โ€“ Only calls a wall forth in front of the user, leaving many opening spots to their sides, behind, or above them. -

Combinations-strategies
If my opponent likes to perform taijutsu, I could call forth this wall to catch them by surprise. A technique capable of dragging my opponent into me while putting up the wall could also be a good combo.
Ways to counter this technique
Using a wide enough wind gust technique should be capable of erasing the shield. If you could manage to get behind the opponent, he will be open for a jutsu. Since the hands are required to required stay up, a water technique capable of covering the wall may backfire on the user.

Out of the C-rank techniques, these are my five favorite and ones im most likely to use. The technique fifth on my list is quick to perform and can be used in conjunction with a water technique to add extra damage, however, it can be evaded easy so itโ€™s my least favorite out of the five. The fourth technique on my list can also be performed fast and travels fast and can be aimed at a target, which I like. The third technique on my list, I chose because itโ€™s a great use for defense. The second technique I chose because it spreads outwards and can be used to hit multiple targets and has potentials to set up combos. The first one is good because of the radius it effects. IMO my list consist of techniques that start off as simple to hit one opponent and works its way up with techniques that can hit multiple targets or can be used for strategic purposes

I like it, simplicity is good. Never try to over complicate things in battle, quick and efficient techs that get the job done is the best thing possible for battle. When you progress you will learn to get more advance with each and every technique.

Description: After enveloping themselves with lightning, the user emanates a powerful bolt of electricity targeted at their opponent.

Okay here is a simple technique. The user will envelop their whole bodies with lightning and then aim at the opponent sending the lightning which was once around their body now sent as projectile; A powerful bolt of electricity at the opponent. Now this is a projectile base so you can send more techs after for combos. It is a straightforward technique but can be used for combos and distractions. A huge problem is you will first be covered in lightning, and that spells trouble for water attacks and leave you vulnerable to wind attacks. Its a small window but a smart opponent can easily take advantage. Be weary.



(Raiton: Ikazuchi no Kiba) - Lightning Release: Fangs of Lightning

Description: The user will raise his hand or a weapon and send an electrical discharge into the clouds, allowing them to create lightning strikes in the desired location. The discharges are triggered right after the technique and cannot be delayed or prepared before hand.

This is a fast paced technique which I like to use with combos and trying to force my opponent into a corner. The user will raise their hand/weapon send lightning chakra and a discharge is tricked and a bolt is sent back to the opponent towards any location of the users choosing. This gives the technique a rather flexible motion and is easy to perform. Right after sending the lightning technique you can continue to another technique making this a great speed base technique.


(Raiton: Shichu Shibari) โ€“ Lightning Release: Four-Pillar Bind

Description: After the user performs the Ram โ†’ Boar โ†’ Dog โ†’ Bird โ†’ Hare hand seals they then summon Four Giant Pillars surrounding the enemy target and then the user shoots out bolts of lightning, binding the target in place and possibly doing damage to them.

This is a rather slow technique. After doing 6 hand seals the user will summon 4 pillars to grow from the ground and around the opponents area. Now the pillars take some time to grow but they go grow nonetheless in time, I recommend you do a distraction for the opponent to allow them to erect in time. Anyway when they rise you will send a lightning charge through the pillars and bolts of lightning is sent towards the areas covered. Anything inside the pillars will be shocked and paralyzed. This is great to trap large summons.

Combinations-strategies
Since the technique leaves the user vulnerable for a moment, I would send off a quick technique like the water bullet technique to distract and catch my opponent off guard while quickly following up with this technique. If my opponent is at a mid or long range and I feel comfortable enough, I would use this technique first and then follow up with another quick technique. A technique that can be used to distract or blind my opponent would also give me the perfect amount of time to set up this technique

Ways to counter this technique
Using a large scale water technique to douse my opponent right when the lightning is covering his body will make this technique backfire on him. Another counter would be to use a wide scale gust of wind the moment the lightning surrounds my opponent to void the technique. While the lightning is starting to surround the user, depending on the range I am, I can use a quick technique that requires no hand seals while he is still open

From what I understand, sending a strong enough fire technique into the sky after the electrical discharge should combo with this tech. using a low ranked earth technique to trap my opponent temporarily then using this technique would be sure to hit. Using this technique first to distract and possibly strike my opponent, then following up with another quick technique would leave my opponent in a bad situation if they cannot counter quick enough.

Ways to counter this technique
Using the wind stream technique to push myself to a long range would put me out of range for this technique. Using a wind technique where I can aim the technique either through head movement or hands, at the sky to neglect the bolts should work as a good counter.

Using a fire technique that is capable of trapping my opponent and then performing this technique would leave my opponent in a bad predicament. If my opponent is relying on a summon, I could use this technique to trap them and bring my attention back to my opponent. If I could manage to use a technique that will blind my opponent for just enough or a genjutsu, I would have time to set this tech up.

Ways to counter this technique
Destroying the pillars before the user has the chance to send lightning to them.Using a technique to propel myself into the air, away from the pillars would make this tech pointless

Together in one attack, I doubt it unless you have a CJ that can correspond. Looking in the fire jutsus I don't believe so.

I'm in the mood to give out some pointers and examples. I'm not saying your points are not good, but lack major creativity. Now lets start with the advantages and disadvantages. Here is a quote I made earlier.
When it comes to figuring out advantages and disadvantages. Think not of what is obvious. Think what is out side the box. Something that you might not have notice until you have given it a second read. What I always did was search the jutsus and looked at the pictures or watched them through the anime to get a better feel. Also how would it be able to go hand in hand with different fighting styles as well as your own? Like I said the senbons are not for snick attacks, though they are great for Guerrilla warfare, sending constant attacks over and over further pushing your opponent back. Also think of battle, if you were to use the jutsu think how would you use it to put yourself in an advantage in the battle. Here is a big example, I'm going to use a jutsu you are familiar with.
Now to use advantages and disadvantages to create combos and counters.
Now the example will be different. Lets take a very powerful jutsu like .... Wood Dragon, the one Hashirama is so famous for using. Seems to be a super powerful technique that only a OP RPer can take out! Not the case to be honest with some creativity and examination all you need is a couple of good jutsus in the canon list. Now taking notes from the Manga the dragon can only stay active if the user remains with his hands cuffed together and focuses on the dragon always during its time on. Now wood is weak against Lightning. All you need is a wide spread lightning jutsu to finish the dragon. Though it might and might not work, a opponent always has a trick up his sleeve. Now why not force the opponent to release his hands and send the lightning. Why not send crashing down Water style: Water Blockade under him which will do two things crush him under the weight of the water or notice it however possible and have to put his attention on their. If he is crushed great his hands have been released, if though he decides to put his attention up their he will make his dragon to try and block it, that is the window you strike with a lightning jutsu. So on B-Rank, one S-rank and some creativity.

How did I get this? I examined all the weaknesses the jutsu my opponent had, I looked at all its advantages as well to to try to play away or make its advantage into my advantage instead. Then I created a combo which not only attacks the weaknesses but makes his advantage mine instead, how? Water is weak against wood, so he would diverge attention towards what would seem easy to him and that is the turning point for your victory.

I know I'm giving battle training, but I wanted to try and give out tips and example to help you out in the future writing out your template as well as future battles you will have.

Description: After using a Water Style technique, the user releases a wave of electricity that can electrocute any water within range, electrocuting and knocking back an opponent in contact with the water. When used without a water technique, its power is moderate. The technique can be used extremely quickly, so that it finishes almost in conjunction with the previous jutsu.

Okay this is a very nice jutsu and its sole purpose is to use with combos. The user will send from their hands unfocused lightning chakra, which can travel towards the opponent as a stream. That is fairly simple method which has basic combos and counters to it. Its best feature is it goes hand and hand with basically any water jutsu, not only that but it is a very fast when coming into conjunction with the water. Right when you send out the water, you can perform the technique which will meet with the water almost instantly and travel all through the water. Now little should I say that its power is increase by a lot when with water, has so many combos. For the counter I want you to counter it if someone was to have sent a wave of water in conjunction of this jutsu.



(Raiton: Ikazuchi no Utage) - Lightning Release: Lightning Burial ~ Banquet of Lightning

Description: The user brings their hands together and an electrical energy will begin to crackle around them. They will then slam their hands to the ground to send an electric current racing through the earth. When the current approaches its target, it can split into multiple tendrils to attack separate targets individually.

A great ground attack. The user will release lightning all throughout the edges of their skin and with a good thrust send that lightning towards the ground which begins to rush at the opponent, when it gets to the opponent it shock them on the feet sending a surge through their whole body which can hurt them badly. The tendril can also be split apart in separates tendrils to attack multiple targets. I should mention this is a rather loud technique, something you would not use for snick attacks, when you release it around your body cracks are heard and when channeled in the ground you can hear it easily. It travels long range, as well. It move rather fast as well, its great to pressure an opponent with.

Very simple the user raises their hand towards the sky where their are going to be clouds, the user will gather a portion of lightning chakra from those clouds in the sky and condense it in the palms of their hands which they then send as a stream of lightning bolt towards the opponent. Problems is you will have to focus in the sky to gather the chakra, literally raising your arms leaving your arms occupied and focus towards the clouds. Little to say it can leave you open seriously. Everything else is very simple.
