As he disappears, I start thinking if she would make an exception and try a bit more to teach 2-3 techniques.
Then I slam my hands on the ground to send my chakra in the available pool of water. I manipulate my chakra in the water to make the water molecules to rise and reach the clouds, and later start raining automatically. I maintain my chakra connection till the whole river dries up.

Well, this is tricky. Why would I want to use this technique when I am a water user lol. But if I have a better water user, then I will :p

"That would be a waste... the river would never dry up because the water would rise up, rain, rise up, rain, and continue with that neverending cycle until you stop providing it with chakra." Nico Robin performed a single hand seal to create a clone and orders it to stand mid range from the student. "Alright, gather wind and water chakras to make rain chakra. Once you're done, channel it outwards and send it to the water raindrops around your hands, which should be positioned forwards, as if you were holding a balloon in your hands. Run towards me and as you are running, the orb should grow in size. Compress it, add pressure, and once you've reached close range, close enough for you to place a hand on the target, add pressure to force it to explode which should be powerful enough to push the enemy back, or multiple enemies. Now, give me advantages, usages, and disadvantages. Perform it on my clone afterwards as well."

(Kyuutai no Ame) - Orb of Rain
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: After a long line of handseals, the user is able to place a large amount of chakra into their hands and gather rain towards their palms. The user must begin running towards the target of the jutsu, once enough rain has been gathered and condensed to form a fist sized orb of water in the user's hand, the user must place their hand near the target. The orb of water will "explode" pushing enemies back and creating openings for attacks.

I start by channelling my wind and water chakra and convert it into rain chakra right in front of me, in front of my hand. I user shape manipulation to turn it into an orb, right in front of me. I keep channelling chakra into it as I run forwards, to increase its size, and finally apply pressure into it before punching it into your clone. The orb would explode outwards destroying the clone in the process.

Advantage: It produces similar effects to Rasengan.
I can blast away the objects thrown at me, back to the opponent.

Disadvantage: Long chain of handseals required.

Uses: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is a short ranged jutsu, but once blasted, the opponent will fly to mid-range?

"Hm, you see the technique requires you to run to a target first, so the range allows it to be used to enemies in mid-range since you'll be running towards them. Understood? If you have no further questions, I'd like an actual usage please."

This can be used something like a non lethal rasengan. Except that the way it is created is different. It can be used to push the opponents out of course.

"Great, moving on. Gather wind and water chakras and combine them together to create rain chakra. Send them in the individual rain drops twenty meters around you after performing the necessary handseals. The rain chakra will allow you to control the movements of the raindrops within the range. The raindrops will also turn into sharp water needles, and once you are able to control them, you can direct them towards a target, which of course requires attention the entire time it is being directed towards an opponent. Now, how would you use this in battle? Perform it, and give me advantages and disadvantages as well."

(Hitoshirenu Ame Naifu) - Hidden Rain Knives

Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user creates the necessary handseals and rain drops in an area of 20 meters around the user is able to turn into sharp water needles, these are relatively weak but can be directed towards an opponent.

I quickly perform two quick handseals and release my wind and water chakra (and turn it into rain chakra) into the rain, 20 meters away from me. I use shape manipulation to transform the chakra into needles. Mentally, I direct them towards my opponent, and hit him with it, piercing his body and killing him.

Advantage: This attack is unpredictable. If I create thus needles behind your back, you won't even know.

Disadvantage: This is not fatal. It will injure the target badly though. Also, handseal requirement makes it a bit umm >_>
Other than that, I don't see any.

Usage: I would preferably use this in combination with a paralyzing genjutsu, where the target is locked in an illusionary world so that he may not see any changes.

" Great, great. Let's continue. Up next, gather water and wind chakras and combine them together to create Rain chakra. Focus it on any point on the ground around the battlefield, as long as within mid-range. In this case, focus it under this training dummy," Nico Robin orders as she plants a single training dummy in front of the student, about ten meters. "Now, send more water chakra above that general area and channel it through the rain drops. Now, combine these rain drops together to create a large pillar of rainwater, with a four meter diameter. As it falls, the water will dissolve, and its momentum along with its density will create a shockwave of water as well as be able to crush the opponent. Now, perform it, give me a defense, and combinations."

(Hashira no Ame) - Pillar of Rain
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user focuses rain to form as a large pillar before high up in the rain, and also focusing on a point on the ground where it should land, the water pillar has a radius of 4 meters and is a powerful jutsu to give an upper advantage against the enemy, the pillar dissolves as it lands on the ground creating a shock wave of water

I start to gather water and wind chakras and combine them together to create Rain chakra. As the opponent stands on the ground, I focus my chakra on the ground and in the rain drops above him. I shape manipulate it to form a huge pillar of water that crashes on him from above that connects the chakra under him. The water when it crashes, creates shock waves that destroys the opponent even further.

I can create athe S-Rank earth armor to defend myself. Or I can even move out of the way (using a jutsu).

This one goes very well with genjutsu. Genjutsu then Rain.

Or I can use some attack from below, like Earth spikes, and then shoot rain pillar from above.

"Fair enough... Moving on." Nico Robin said sternly as the rain continued to fall, as hard as ever. "Gather wind and water chakras together to create Rain chakra. Send them on the individualrain drops and use your appearance and have it reflect on the rain drops, which would create "clones", up to a hundred. Of course, these clones don't pose a threat because it can be destroyed with a hit, and it has no offensive capabilities, but it works well with confusing and annoying the enemy. Because it is merely a reflection of yourself, it would mimic your movements which make it such a good distraction. Because it is a simple technique, I'd like you to simply perform it and ask any questions."

(Hyaku Touei Ame Bushin) - Hundred Rain Reflection Clones
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A large scale upgrade of the Reflection Rain clone. The user can create his reflection one hundred different times, these clones don't cause a threat to the enemy and is destroyed by one hit but can make the enemy confused and the user will have time to issue another attack. l The clones mimic the user's every move.

I utilize my water and wind chakra to create rain chakra, which I send it to the atmosphere. As my chakra enters the falling rain drops, I manipulate it, to reflect my image, so that it gives the appearance of 100 clones standing beside me. They mimic my movements when I move around.

No questions U_U

"And so we move on." Nico Robin lead the student to an area that was more opened. The rain still resumed to fall, and a single training dummy stood, ten meters from where the two. "Now, I'd like you to gather wind and water chakras together to create rain chakra. With it, channel it to individual raindrops and have them join together through the chakra via Shape manipulation. Shape it into a trident that is fairly long. It can be used to fall down upon the target that could pierce them, or used as a weapon. The cool thing is once it slices through the body of the target, it will expand to cause even more damage, however it disperses into water shortly after creation. Perform it and destroy the training dummy for me, please. Also, give me usages and disadvantages."

(Ame toraidento no Jutsu) - Rain Trident Technique
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: A powerful jutsu that uses chakra to gather rain and form it into a long Trident. The Trident is able to change lengths at the user's well and thanks to the chakra has a somewhat solid form. The Trident returns to its' normal state shortly after creation. When the trident cuts into an object, it expands into said object causing more damage and sometimes can even be used to break bones.

I gather and combine my wind and water chakra to create rain chakra. Once done, I channel them into the falling rain drops and use shape manipulation to turn it into a trident. A long one at that. I aim the trident over the dummy and make it break its interior stuff.

Usages: Well, since no handseals are required, I can simply use this technique to harm my opponent even when I'm running or performing some taijutsu.

Disadvantage: I don't see any. One turn is all I need. What happens to the trident after that, is not my concern.

"Well, it does fall at a linear pattern therefore, if the opponent moves, it would be wasted chakra... But it is indeed a great technique, but of course, all techniques come with disadvantages. Alas, let's move on to S-ranks. I, of course, require more description and details, and whatnot." Nico Robin explains the next technique, however, she is behind the student. "This next one is quite interesting... Gather wind and water chakras to create rain chakra, and send it in an area around you, like your palms for example. Use the rain chakra to draw in the raindrops and continuously manipulate the chakra to have it spin around at high speeds, which would of course, spin the rain drops at high speeds as well. At this point, I'd like you to throw it to the opponent and it will grow in strength and size. The raindrops and raw speed of it can draw in the rain clouds into them as well; it basically creates a large tidal wave of rainwater, kind of like Rasengan. Perform it, give disadvantages, and a counter

(Kadou Tsunami no Jutsu) - Vortex Tsunami Technique
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: A highly advanced technique that draws all the rain into one point, this single point spins at high speeds, so high that they begin to pull the rain cloud into them. The final effect of this technique is a swirling storm of Water that rushes towards an opponent in a fierce tidal wave like motion.
The speeds that this vortex spins at are so fast that it is able to cut through armor. This technique, once sent out is almost impossible to stop and will continue going until the chakra supporting it runs out. As a downside, the storm will chase down an opponent and anything near an opponent, including the user of the jutsu .

Finally S ranks!!

I start by channelling my water and wind chakra to my palm, creating rain chakra. Then by focusing all the falling rain drops on my palm, I manipulate it to spin at high speeds. As it does, I see the nearby raindrops getting pulled towards it, and soon the force increases. I quickly launch the jutsu at the dummy, standing mid-range away from me. The jutsu attacks him as a tidal wave, pulling the rain clouds towards itself.

The disadvantage is that, you cannot preform it if the opponent its near you.

You can counter this using any A+Rank Earth defense. Like altering the terrain etc.

"YEaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I'm going to need more detail from you, especially considering these are S-ranks... Nevertheless, we will continue..." Nico Robin commented in a discontent tone. "This next one is cool. Through a row of hand seals, and small cuts on your ring fingers, i want you to sacrifice your blood as an 'offering' of sorts. Send rain chakra into the clouds, and then manipulate them to warm into several dragons, of clouds of course. Once they are fully formed, you can further manipulate them to emit one spiral rain spear per turn, with the damage distributed evenly of course. They still emit rain so, that's a plus. Simply perform it and give me usages as well as a counter."

(Haisou no Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Flight of the Rain Dragons
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 40(-10 each turn to keep this jutsu in play)
Damage Points: 80
Description: After performing a long row of hand seals, the user makes a small cut on each of his or her ring fingers and raises his or her hands to the sky. Some of the user's blood raises up into the sky, apparently as a sacrifice. The clouds then begin to warp and form into several dragons. Once fully formed, each of the dragons is capable of emitting one spiral rain spear per turn. The dragons also act as alternate sources of rain.

Quickly taking out my kunai, I give my ring fingers a shallow cut. As it starts bleeding, I raise then both up towards the heavens, whilst channelling my rain chakra into the sky. By manipulating the chakra present in the sky, I make the clouds form into 7 humongous dragons made of clouds. I wait till these dragons form fully. And once they do, I manipulate them to release spears of rain from their mouth towards the dummy, while they allow rain to fall.

I think I can use it anytime to over power my opponent. And since it comes from the top, it would be an added advantage as the opponent cannot predict it. Also, spears are released every turn. So yay!

I can simply blow away the clouds. No?

"Yes you can, but keep in mind that they are infused with chakra and you need the appropriate ranking to overpower it." She explained while moving onto the next technique. "Dark Rain. My favorite. Channel chakra into the existing rain water and rain drops and perform nature transformation to create rain chakra. Change the physical properties of the rain to make it pitch black, but also transparent. They make the entire battlefield seem as if it was completely dark, so long as it is raining hard. It doesn't restrict vision completely, but it does hinder it. Each rain technique performed while this is active receives the same color, which makes it perfect for assassins. Please perform it and give me a defense."

(Kuro Ame no Jutsu) - Dark Rain Technique
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40(-5 each turn after 3 turns have passed)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user forms the necessary handseals and the all the rain drops in the area becomes pitch black, they can be felt pouring down but would not be seen, and they would still be transparent. This is a very strong technique because as soon as this is done every technique the user create using this will be pitch black and the enemy will not see them coming

Ohhhhhh yeah!!

I start my stretching out my arms and channelling my rain chakra into the already falling rain drops. By carefully manipulating it, I change its color to black. Pitch Black. As the rain falls, the area becomes pitch black, so much that nothing can be seen. Every other drop becomes black. Day seems like night without light. And this condition makes it difficult to track my movements, as I continue with other Rain techniques.

This can be defended by simply stopping the rain. Even though the color changes, it is the simple RTAW technique.

(Suiton: Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Dragon Skill
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: powerful jutsu that's into motion the creation of a dragon made of clouds. the dragon itself is very powerful and adds a level of versatility previously unknown to rain-based techniques. The dragon swoops down from the sky and onto the battlefield. Not only is it capable of shooting a spiral rain spear from any point on its body once per post, but it is capable of directing a small rainstorm from its body. This allows rain techniques to be used from the dragon, and become more localized.
Great great. Okay this is similar to the last one we learned already, except its one dragon that is obviously more powerful and much larger.
Because of its similarities, I'd like you to analyze this one and compare and contrast it with the (Haisou no Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Flight of the Rain Dragons technique.
