As I notice your clone, I gather my wind and water chakra together to create rain chakra and then channel it through multiple rain drops falling in the entire field. Then I merge them together and through shape manipulation, shape it into an entity that resembles a real life Dagger. I create the dagger above my opponent, 3 meter above him that would pierce his shoulder to force him to poof away.

Advantage: No handseals required. It is not that easy to notice irregularity in the falling raindrops.

Disadvantage: No particular disadvantage.

Scenario: This jutsu can be better used with techniques that distract the opponent. Like a genjutsu or maybe a technique that comes from below that would require the target to move and hence why he won't notice the change in rain fall etc.

"There's gotta be more advantages... like, being able to attack from different sides, diversity, sneakiness, etc. To correct you, In my eyes, i think it would be pretty easy to notice the irregularities of the rain. For example, if its raining in your head and suddenly, you don't feel the rain anymore in certain parts of your head. Then yeah, it would be logical to think that something was blocking the way, unless it is to the sides where the normal rain does not touch your body. Anyways, let's move on." Nico Robin performed began to explain the next technique. "Gather wind and water chakras together and channel it in your palms. Extend it outwards towards the sky, with opened palms. The rain chakra should act as a magnet, with the raindrops acting as opposite poles ; the raindrops would naturally be repelled, thus preventing rain from touching you. Alright, this technique's limitation is simple. It cannot block anything that is shaped through shape manipulation, like daggers, but it can block the ones that act like normal rain, like the dark rain technique or acid rain. Perform it and simply give me how you would use this in battle and tell me whether or not you like this technique. Details, please!"

(Amagasa no Jutsu) - Umbrella Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A helpful technique for staying dry in the rain. After a few short handsigns, the user can create an invisible umbrella by extending their arm over their head and holding an open palm towards the sky. This "umbrella stops all rain, but cannot stop jutsu that take a more solid form like the Rain spear technique. This technique was actually made to stop the acid rain technique and other average falling rain techniques from touching the user.

As I notice the rain falling over me, I start by gathering my wind and water chakra together in my body and then I channel it in my palms. Then I form a few handseals before I extend my hand outwards towards the sky, with opened palms to affect the falling rain drops. As I do this, the falling rain drops get pushed away from me, and effectively giving me a dome like protection. I then move around a bit to show you the successful working of the technique.

Question: Will this remain active if I perform some other technique?

To answer your question, my answer depends on your answer to the above question Lol
Its a good technique no doubt. And I like it. I can use it to prevent the opponent from sensing me using RTAW. I can put chakra everywhere on the battlefield so that he won't be able to track where exactly I am.

Question: Can I defend against Stormy Blockade using this?

"No, you'd need to keep your hands up and maintain the 'umbrella'. As for your second question, the sheer volume of the stormy blocade technique would overpower the relatively small-in-size umbrella and most certainly continue on to your body. As for your usage, the user would technically sense the chakra through the rain technique once the raindrops make contact with the makeshift umbrella, so, that'll be difficult. Anyways, let's continue."

"An advanced version of the original rain capture technique. Gather wind and water chakras together and combine them to create Rain chakra." As she spoke, Nico Robin summoned a parrot. The parrot sat still while saying some random things to annoy the student. "...yeah, what an annoying parrot. To shut him up, I'd like you to use your rain chakra and send it in the individual rain drops. I'd like you to manipulate the rain drops and have them bounce up above the clouds, eventually causing them to freeze. You'd shape the raindrops into the appropiate shape, dome or net, before allowing it to freeze so it can be frozen to that shape. Now, have it drop down to trap the parrot. It acts like a projectile, therefore it is easily evaded. Once you've trapped the Parrot, tell me how you would use this in battle in terms of combinations, and the limitations of the technique."

(Touketsu Ame Nottori no Jutsu) - Frozen Rain Capture Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: An advance version of rain capture where the user bounces the rain into the clouds. The higher up they go the more colder they get untill they freeze and come falling down(similar to hail)in the form of a net or a dome to capture the opponent.

A wonderful technique! Not because it is OP. Its actually waste of a technique that I probably would never use lol. But it brings out a concept that I could use to create Rain customs.

I start by gathering my wind and water chakra together and combine them to create Rain chakra. Once done, I channel my chakra into the falling raindrops. As this happens, I manipulate the rain drops and have them bounce up above the clouds, eventually causing them to freeze. I then shape the raindrops into the shape of a net, before allowing it to freeze so it can be frozen to that shape. With this, I make it fall down with that shape, so that it falls as a net over the parrot holding it down.

I dunno how this would benefit me in a battle :/

"Alright, now what are the limitations/disadvantages of this technique? And as a tip, when making customs with the same concept, I suggest not making it sound too much like Ice. And in battle, this can be used to trap the enemy and attack from underneath, with earth spikes, or use it if the enemy is already trapped through techniques like Swamp of the Underworld."

The limitation to this technique is that it causes no damage actually. Not only that, cooling it above the clouds and whatnot is such a long process. But the time I perform this, my opponent would've killed me thrice already >_>

"Good, good. But don't be such a debby downer next time, believe in yourself U_U"

"Alright, the next technique is simple and the concept is one we just went over. Gather wind and water chakras together to create rain chakras. Channel the rain chakra into multiple rain drops and join them together to create a single dagger-shaped weapon. Have the large dagger made of rainwater bounce up and above the clouds, and once it reaches a high altitude, it should freeze it up completely. It would of course naturally fall downwards and it is pretty powerful, capable of piercing through the skull. Like the previous technique we just learned, it is essentially a 'projectile' based technique in a sense that you cannot manipulate it with chakra to have it move around as it is making its descent. Perform it to force my clone to disperse, and once you're done, give me combinations and disadvantages to the technique." Nico robin creates a clone and has it stand a few meters from where the student was positioned.

(Touketsu Ame Aikuchi) - Frozen Rain Dagger

Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: An advance version of rain daggers where the user bounces the rain into the clouds. The higher up they go the more colder they get until they freeze and come falling down(similar to hail).

I start by combining my water and wind chakra to create the rain chakra that I use to channel it into multiple rain drops to join them together to create a dagger like weapon. The weapon is created above the clouds, making it much more cooler and hence it allowing it to descend as frozen dagger. I make the dagger to fall on your clone's head and thereby making it disappear.

Ok as I understand, this technique creates daggers which fall down as hail. So there are many right? I also understand that I cannot manipulate it once it is frozen and it starts its downward fall. So the opponent could just move and avoid the attack altogether which is one of the biggest disadvantages. Also, if I use it as hail, the pwer also gets divided as compared to a single dagger.

Since it doesn't require any handseal, I can lock my opponent in a paralyzing genjutsu and perform this technique making it difficult for him to get out of it. This technique can also be used right after attacking the opponent from below which would make him concentrate on attacks from under him, leaving him vulnerable from above.

"It is actually only one dagger, hence the name. The comparison between hail is how it freezes itself and solidifies into ice. Nice reply, I liked the combination." Nico Robin answered, as he moved onto explaining the next technique. "I need not explain - this technique is basically the same as the last one. The only difference is the first turns to water once it hits the ground, this one, on the other hand, disperse back into rain after three turns. Just two questions for this, one, do you understand? And second, what would you do with the extra ability of this technique?"

(Touketsu Ame Ittou) - Frozen Rain Blade
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: An advance version of rain blade where the user bounces the rain into the clouds. The higher up they go the more colder they get until they freeze and come falling down(similar to hail) and unlike the original they do not turn back into train until after 3 turns.

What's with that name :|

1. I understood.

2. I dunno :/ Can I make this dagger in turn one and use some other jutsu and then in turn two/three I make it fall down? I mean, it won't turn back to rain for 3 turns at least.

"No, it cannot do that, you'd need Yin-Yang, i believe." Nico Robin answered, but moved onto the next techniques soon after. "A technique that requires advance chakra control. Through a single hand seal, while combining wind and water chakras together to create Ame chakra, I want you to send the rain chakra into the clouds. Three turns afterwards, the rain would solidify and turn into ice due to the rain chakra cooling the clouds slowly, making it kind of like a refrigerator that freezes the water droplets into ice before falling. Once three turns are up, use the chakra present in the hail and manipulate it to move the hail towards the target, falling down at a pretty fast speed, while pelting them and causing moderate damage. You would, of course, be required to maintain chakra concentration to be able to control the hail, and the hail only lasts for the turn it is used, so it would turn back into rainwater soon after." Nico Robin performs a single hand seal, and four clones are created that run around the battlefield. "Perform it and manipulate the hail to target my clones. Once you're done, give me the advantages and disadvantages of the technique."

(Hougeki Arare) - Bombarding Hail
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: Using this jutsu requires great chakra control, performing hand seals and sending chakra into the clouds. After a bit of development,(three turns) a ninja will form the precipitation of the cloud into hail. This hail will fall for a brief time from the clouds and by chakra control be targeted at the opponent.
Note:must have clouds in the sky to use this jutsu.

You are so lazy. Try posting faster responses U_U

I start by gathering my wind and water chakra and combining them to form ame chakra. Once done, I channel my chakra into the sky, in the clouds to create rain. As it rains, I wait 3 turns for the rain to cool in the cold atmosphere at that altitude and then after 3 turns, I let the rain water fall down as pieces of ice (hail). I then channel my chakra into this hail to manipulate them to fall on your clone, causing him moderate level damage.

Advantage:
I get to use ice release (though not literally xD)
It is also a wide ranged jutsu. SO even if the target moves (in range), I can still attack him.

Disadvantage:
waiting for 3 turns and if I don't use it, it becomes useless water. Which would be wastage of my move.
It works only in short-range

"Alright, all valid points. Now, how would you defend against such a technique? What are its limitations?" Nico Robin questioned.

"Clearing the sky when the threat is fast approaching would be a bad idea - i recommend a technique that would both clear the sky and prevent the hail from reaching you. A good technique would be hardening technique because it allows you to tank the hail while covering your upper body with the armor. And yeah, because you only need to survive one turn, any defense that can properly defend against Rain release, both in terms of strength and size, would work."

"Alright next up - a technique used in conjunction with the Hidden Mist technique. By combining both water and wind chakras, i want you to create rain chakra and send it to the clouds. It is similar to the last jutsu we learned, with only two differences: It is only supplementary based and it is snow instead of hail. Use your rain chakra to manipulate the nature of the water droplets into the properties of snow, which is done by changing the wind/water chakra ratios. Now, if done correctly, the rain should turn into snow which would create a blizzard-like snow that is very thick, and as a result, hinder the vision of anyone in the battlefield." Nico Robin summons three training dummies, approximately three meters tall each. "This technique only lasts three turns, and it takes three turns for the snow to reach its maximum amount. Three turns after, it would be reduced to water. Now what uses might you find for this technique? When in battle, and either you or the enemy performs this technique, how would you react (how would you use it to your disadvantage, or how would you counter the 'hindering-vision' effect?"

(Setsumou) - Snow Blindness
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Shot-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Used in conjunction with the Hidden Mist skill this makes things even more difficult to see. If used without the Hidden Mist skill, it is far less effective. The user makes snow begin to fall from the sky as thick as possible. This, of course, effects both the user and the opponent's vision.
Note:This jutsu must have rain clouds to perform and the snow takes three turns to fall and lasts for 3 turns.
Restrictions:Can only be used three times per battle.

As Nico Robin teaches technique after technique, I wonder if she knows how to teach multiple (2-3) techniques at a time.

Soon, I start gathering my wind and water chakra and combine them to form rain chakra, before sending it to the clouds. I make the water molecules in the rain to get cooler ad hence make it snow over the entire area. I channel more chakra to make it snow like a blizzRD, and hence hinder everyone's vision even more.

This technique has limited uses as you see, even if you blow away the snow, it continues snowing. But the fact remains that it is not as effective as the hidden mist technique.

If my opponent uses this technique, it means even he is not able to see me. And if I have sensing or custom sensing techniques (which I do Lol) I can put it to an advantage.

The technique is basically snow. So using a good fire technique will turn the snow to water. And as you know it takes 3 turns to get a good hindering effect. So I can use that time to attack my opponent.

"Once the snow melts back to water, you could pretty much use the water to attack anyway through water techniques requiring water sources. Or, you could use your own fire technique to melt it and have access to the water quicker. It's definitely a great technique, though the lack of sensory should make it a pain to use." Nico Robin added, while disappearing for a quick moment because she recently found out that she had a disease that prevented her from adding 2-3 techniques in a post.

"I'm... i'm back. Sorry, I tend to get very emotional... Anyways, let's continue. This next technique is pretty handy, for me at least. By slamming your hands on the ground, you will send a large amount of rain chakra, proportional to your targeted water source. You send the chakra through the ground and into the water source, anywhere within mid range of course, and have it 'rise up' back to the clouds where it will begin to rain again. Repeated usage would make a seemingly never ending storm. Please perform it yourself and take out that small manmade river meters from us, and explain how you would use this in battle." Nico Robin performs several hand seals and slams her hands on the ground. Suddenly, a pit is created and water materializes, creating a river. "Go"

(Suiton: Kouu no Fukkou) - Water Style: Rain's Renaissance
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user slams his hand on the ground and sends a large wave of chakra into the ground. This wave of chakra causes all small, nearby sources of water to fly back into the clouds to replenish them. This has little effect on natural storms but on artificial ones it can be used multiple times to lengthen it almost indefinitely.
