Rain is a signature ability of those who come from Amegakure.
First of all, rain as an element is just water are are initailly condensed in the sky as clouds then they begin to fall when their container is weak to contain them.
Using our chakra however, we can forcibly manipulate the condensation of water to form clouds and make rain fall.
Because of the condensation of water, Rain would be said to comprise of 2 basic elements, wind that is able to hold and condense water and water which is the one that is being held.
Some example of those seen manipulating rain seen is Nagato who is able to sense intruders from someplace as far as his fortress using the rain. Some kirigakure shinobi also use rain but on a different scale making it more heavy and possessing chakra draining properties.

1. I begin to focus on my chakra into the rain then I hold out my right hand, palm open then I begin collect/gather nearby raindrop into my palms. Using shape manipulation, I am able to mold it perfectly into an orb then I hurl it at my clone.
2. I jes imbue my chakra into the rain then I change its contituents to a sticky one. Making the rain have a glue like properties.
Questions: Won't this affect me to?

2) No since you because your only making the rain where your opponent is sticky and can control which rain drops are sticky. And you could do the earth armor so that way it doesnt touch your actually body and pushes the rain drops off your skin. If you have a jutsu that can blow wind out from your body that would also work.

1. Focusing my chakra into the rain, I form a clone though intangible as its only a reflection like the bunshin no jutsu, it mimics my every move which a good distration when it comes to tactics.

Almost forgot >< Yes you can, Yes but this jutsu is for one single rain drop so you would have to use the jutsu again, Only if the opponent has a way to sense it, its like a blade so depending where it hits it can kill, and it can pierce since its as sharp as a blade

Imagine my opponent or I use acid rain or grudge rain and the opponent tries to escape, i can make the rain follow him nonethless.
The second is reminiscent to the e-rank illusionary clone technique which poses no threat nor are they strong enough to even be tangible though tangible enough to take form. As the jutsu also said, it good for distraction and its usefulness is rather limited.

I specifically love the first one. You can make the water to your advantage and make the target prone to lightning. He himself won't be able to use lightning jutsu.
Can the collected water act as a source of water?
For the second one. Just a question. Is the clone levitating/flying/hovering because it is made from cloud?

For the second. Stretches out hand after cursing chakra through the rain and collect rain to form a wall of water in front of me.

First one is a very nice tech that I can use to distract my opponent or even make the terrain quickly full of water and make water available for water jutsu.
I can combine this with hidden rain slash to make the rain blade bigger.
--Can this rain act as a water source, since they are big?
The second is more nicer. I can stop rain.

-does this needs focus? As in when I stop the rain, can I do other jutsu while the rain sieze?
