What is Rain?

Rain is a special element that in our Rp, you can gain with mastery over water/wind. Rain is commonly known as a type of precipitation. Rain normally forms around high temperature areas. With the temp and the pressure, the rain clouds can be formed then later they will release droplets. With our chakra, we are able to manipulate the way rain droplets fall. Depending on the temperature of the environment, the rain can be frozen, as it is water. The freezing point of water is 32* F and 0* C. Also, us ninja can make rain on our own. By weaving several handseals, we can use (Rain Tiger at Will) allowing it to rain.

Strengths and Weaknesses of Rain

Rain is strong against earth/ doton. The reason for this is because, as Rain is also Just water, earth is just like a 'shelter', so whenever you use rain, there is always earth to counteract it. All tough earth is commonly used, Wind is also very effective against rain. Just as with water, if you use rain, your opponent will try to 1. stop the rain clouds from forming, 2. Use a high pressure wind technique to blow/scatter the rain, 3. Use a wind technique to bring down the temperature of rain. As or what it's strong against, the answer if Katon/fire. The reason for this is just like the water/fire relationship. With rains temperature, and fire's, when rain hits fire, it will douse it as its bringing down the temperature. What is rains relationship with lightning you say? Rain is like water, so it has can be a medium for lightning, so you must be careful.

What is Chakra

Chakra is something that all we ninja have. It allows us to use the basic five elements and more, Water, wind, lightning, earth and fire. It also gives us the superhuman abilities such as :to walk on water, scale trees with great speed. Ninjutsu on the other hand is the art of using chakra to perform techniques and suck. Normally found using ninja tools, scrolls. Ninjustu is what allows us to change the shape and properties of our chakra to use the basic 5

Typo O_O.

I meant weak, and such ~_~ epic fail
OOC: Haha, alright moving on then ^_^

Now, I would like you to sit down and meditate for a few hours.

*Madara swiftly waves a few hand seals and shortly after makes it rain.*

Think about the rain, be one with the rain, try to mimic your chakra with the rain.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

Jack sitting down in a vacant area, he begins to think of the rain pounding on his head. He thinks about how the rain flows down his face, how it falls from the sky in beauty. Jack then continues to meditate. He then dozes off for a few, but he regains his train of thought and continues to think. Jack then thinks of how swiftly rain moves, how it is an element that people think low of. Jack then try his best to make his chakra flow like rain. He tries to make his chakra be spontaneous, making it unpredictable and very precise. Jacks chakra then begins to flow irregularly.

I think that's enough meditation. Now...hat did you experience while meditating? how did it feel?

While meditating, i felt my chakra swiftly changing, it was moving irregular. I felt like i was one with the rain drops. I felt the untouched strength of the rain, its versatility. While i was meditating, i felt the calmness of the rain, the way it falls from the sky in beauty.

Okay, good ^.^

From now on I would like you to start using this scroll (template) for every time you perform (reply) to a technique.

Combinations-strategies Here you will write down, ways you would use the technique itself in battle, with combinations or strategies.

Ways to counter this technique And here you will write down ways to counter the technique. So how you can counter/defend against it if it were coming at you.
Example of filled template:
Yes sensei.

Strong points

 • This technique can be used to distance one's self from their opponent, by the gust of wind being strong enough to force them back. The strength of the wind could be used to not only force your opponent back away from you, but it could push them into objects like a rock or a tree, or get you out of range of a jutsu you may be in range of (primarily close or mid ranged)

 • The dust this jutsu could pick up from preforming this jutsu could also cloud the sight of your opponent, giving you the opprotunity to get out of sight and used ambush based attacks (if that's your game plan) or escape from a situation you feel is out of your immediant range of thinking. Also the diversion it could play for the moment, blinding your opponent could give you the immediant go ahead to follow through with another jutsu that they wouldn't expect.

 • Lastly, this jutsu comes in handy for deflecting and enhancing projectiles. When in terms of your opponent throwing projectiles towards you, you could use this jutsu, the gust of wind, being stronger then the natural strength of a shinobi's thrust in throwing projectiles like basic kunai or shuriken, would force them back towards one's opponent or simply render their attack towards you uselses by neutralizing the velocity at which it travels and they'll fall to the ground prematurely. In terms of you throwing your own projectiles, shooting your gust of wind in conjunction with the direction of your projectiles would increase the speed of the weapons and also how much force is behind them, meaning they head quicker to your opponent (harder to evade) and if they hit, the force behind it will cause more damage (via deeper wounds from penetration).

Weak points

 • For larger projectiles like fuma Shuriken or anything with a greater density, the wind may have a harder time deflecting them if thrown by your opponent.

 • Since this is a relitave lower level jutsu, any fire technique would be able to make it's way through the winds and that would be an easy counter for this jutsu as well.

 • Also considering the territory, if in a territory where there is a lot of dust. When this jutsu is preformed, just as you could use it as cover for another attack or an escape, your opponent could use it in the same way. The dust being between the two of you (if enough is gathered that is) could block your sight of your opponent, which is always a flaw that could be used against you.

Combinations-strategies Primarily I see this jutsu as being a great use with simple projectiles like shuriken or kunai. You could toss your weapons and the wind traveling in conjunctin could add speed and penatration power. You. Also a wind-fire combination, using a fire based jutsu (if you have the training that is) and then using this jutsu to enhance the potency and range of the flames. However if both jutsu exhale from the mouth, this jutsu may need to be used by another party such as a shadow clone or summon. I could also see this technique useful for getting off the ground, shooting the flow of wind dowards and that could set you up for an arial attack to use against your opponent.

Ways to counter this technique Using a fire jutsu to force through the flames, making it useless, or using a more powerful wind technique to render their winds useless and also to dispell the sand/dust. Also a jutsu of any kind that could provide a mass of movement in the opposite direction with strong enough force to combat the winds like a powerful/large flow of water or large amounts of earth (via earth jutsu) that would prove to be to dense for the winds to move, also if the earth is moving at it's own velocity towards their opponent, the winds could be useless. Also blocking the winds with some sort of barrier works just as good too.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tori!

*I make the bird seal and I begin to inhale through my nose. I breath in from my diaphram, feeling the wind chakra deep inside my body. I feel the flow channeling from my diaphram into my lungs and I exhale through my mouth. The air coming out of my mouth, fused with my chakra creates a gust of wind, gathering the minirals from the ground (the dust) and creating a large gust of dusty wind, which disperses from a steady stream into the air after s certian distance*

Sensei is this good? ^^
Suddenly the sky forms a natural rain source for you to train on.

Any questions before we proceed? ^_^

I'm ready @_@
(Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: By focusing chakra into the user's hand they are able to gather rain drops towards their palms, the rain is molded together by chakra and forged into a high pressured orb. Once done the orb will shoot away from the users hand and the user will be knocked back. If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced.
Pretty simple technique that I'm sure you have come across during your water training. I want you to focus your chakra outwards and manipulate the rain droplets around your vicinity to come inwards onto your palm. You will the shape manipulate the rain drops into perfect orb of rain water. Using shape manipulation I want you to highly pressurize the orb as you are forming it. Then its a matter of simply releasing the orb to your desired target. Though keep in mind, unlike other techniques this one packs some recoil.

Strong points

 • - I've found many good/strong points in this technique. Because of its size (guessing its kinda small) it would be able to be shot through very small spaces and at great speeds. This would also be able to deflect incoming projectiles. -
 • - Because of the recoil potential, i'm guessing is i were you use this in short range, i would be able to hit my opponent, sending them flying depending where the bullet is aimed, giving me some space between them, allowing me time for another attack. -
 • - Finally, because of its low rank, opponents will take it lightly. Depending on who i'm fighting, they might not have any information or knowledge of the element and wouldn't know how to counter. But, if they did know how to counter, this would be a great distraction. I would then throw several kuni behind the bullet, so as the are occupied with the bullet and use a surprise attack. -
Weak points

 • - As i'm guessing the bullet can only go strait, my opponent would most likely instantly go for deflecting or protecting with earth. Because this technique has mostly a water aspect, it would be weak to D-rank earth techniques. Even though its rank that's not the only downside -
 • - Honestly, because of how small it is and its speed, i would have rather being able to shoot more than one in rapid succession, instead of one per jutsu. My reason for this is because if i were able to shoot them in rapid succession, it would keep my opponent on his/her toes wondering whats next. -
 • - Finally, because of the recoil factor of this technique, i'm guessing i will have to be at a stable area, and try not to use in mid air, because of the condensed aspect of this technique, it would have a "blow back" feature. This feature which would push the user back if he/she don't have their feet right or in the right stance -
Combinations-strategies

With this technique, i would have a lot of possible combinations. Fist i would start of with a hard to realize genjutsu, which also immobilized my opponent. As they are immobilized, i would then proceed to use the rain bullet. Know of the speed of this technique, by the time my opponent recognizes its a gen and breaks free, the bullet would be right in their proximity, making it hard to avoid. Knowing that most ninja get out of gen by using Nagashi, i would release a quick water technique to electrocute my opponent, then i would follow up with the rain bullet, while taking in account the recoil aspect.

Ways to counter this technique

Jack: I'm ready sir

Jack standing several meters from his teacher, watches as the rain continues to fall. As this is happening, jack focuses his Amenton chakra into his right hand, drawing in the rain, while using shape manipulation to create a highly condensed orb of rain. As the orb is forming Jack continues to focus on its properties such as : Shape, density and dexterity. Jack then finally releases this orb towards that tree, Jack being slightly pushed back as he releases the orb as you can see the skit marks on the ground below him. The bullet is now halfway towards its destination and then BAM, it blasts a hole in the tree it made contact with.

I hope i met your expectations ^_^

OOC: You've certainly gotten better over time, I'm really happy to see the development first hand.^^

Just remember that this technique has a short range reach so those combination you were talking about might require some tweaking. Also, how would you counter it? It appears you've forgotten to include that.

Ohh snap >_< sorry i forgot its counter than perform the technique.

How Would you counter

If i was to see this technique coming towards my, i would do what normal ninja would do. I would use a earth technique quite frankly because of its defensive power and water is also weak to earth. I would allow the earth to rise up in front of me creating a small wall, deflecting the water off of it, while also allowing me to block incoming attacks as well. Also being an ice use, i can just shoot down the water bullet with a c-ranked ice technique. Water being double weak to ice and wind being also weak to ice, ice should be the perfect defense for rain

Good.

Now, we only have one D rank so I will skip over to C ranks and at the end of those, I will have you do the battle combination you've done in the past.

(Secchakuzai no Kouu) - Rain of Glue
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: When user makes it rain and then changes the compounds of the water(materials in the air). Then makes the rain sticky which binds the opponent in place for 2 turns.this jutsu lasts for 2 turns.
Okay this is pretty much one of my favorite rain techniques, if not the number one on my list.

After you've successfully created a water source, or simply are using a natural rain source (which would delay all your rain techniques because your chakra is not already within the drops) you will channel your chakra outwards into a medium range radius, or any area within medium range that you desire. You will focus on each individual rain drop within that are and shape manipulate them, changing their compounds similar to the water syrup technique. However, you will go a step further and make it more gluey. This sticky rain allows you to bind your target for a total of two turns if they don't get rid of the sticky rain. The best thing about this jutsu is that it lasts for two turns so the opponent is forced to either make a shelter, take care of the clouds, or change positions.
