why the hell does everyone keep quoting gai there is no evidence to back up that statement and even still who has enough speed and the raw power (and can use raikiri obviously) to cut an attack that moves at the speed of light

well on the show they said it and in the manga they said and i dont think that they would lie so thats pretty much enough evidence dont u think?

no its not becuse kirin moves faster than the nat. lightning

speed of light exceeds .oo1 seconds from atmos. to crust (speed of sound)

rough example but u catch my drift

and unless gai was dead seious than he could have been telling an interesting story about kakashi

(p.s. i dont remember where it was in the anime or the manga if u know can u tell me so i can break it down thoroughly that would be greatly appreciated)

hmm i dont know kirin is basically just controlled lightning and i guess since kakashi has a fully train sharigan eye that he can things more clearly and slowly i mean itachi had enough time to summon that thing.





at the chuunin exams when sasuke was fighting gaara and he used chidori thats when gai said it 2 sakura,ino,and choji

sasuke has to be outside and has to shoot a dragon flame at the sky and then has to wait for the clouds to form then has to do the handsigns for chidori and then wait again for a lightning strike to come down and then control it and by the time he has done all that a raikiri would have already been in his neck

( since it blow up a freaken moutain )
in use:
raikiri>kirin
( much easier to use )

so it depends if sasuke uses amatrasu to make a forest fire and heat up the place so that he can use kirin some moments after.
but we dont now but we mite see it ( man i would love to see kakashi vs sasuke in the kage mitting )

exactly but if they was to fight raikiri would counter kirin but if sasuke uses amaterasu on kakashi kakashi would counter it with Kamui making kakashi the stronger character no matter what kakashi wins in technique and skill but sasuke is still pretty powerful

(pretending it is possible) it will still kill you if it lands near you. all u have to do is move out the way of chidori. or use rasengan. or do what kakashi did in that naruto vs sasuke episode just move the hand away LOL

Fact1:takes to long just to get kirin rdy by the time sasuke gets rdy to use it he would have already had a raikiri to the neck
F2: raikiri cut thru a lightning bolt kirin is just a lightning bolt
F3: sasuke has to be outside anyway can use the genjutsu infinite darkness and can automatically cut that idea out
F4: Kirin is one shot move,Raikiri will cut thru it and kakashi would still be able to use a lot more raikiris
