Raikage vs Gaara

I can't choose my answer yet but most likely I think gaara he can fly and stuff on his sand idk what all raikage can do

A, i know gaara can fly on the sand, but chance of raikage not knowing long-range lightning techniques is like 1%

yeah you gots a point! for now at the moment from what we have seen of both of thier techniques gaara is better hands down so im going with gaara until we see what he can really do

I say Gaara. He's more versatile, and he stopped the Raikage's kick against sasuke with his sand, so I think his defense will uphold. Also, Gaara won't underestimate the Raikage, and I feel as though the Raikage doesn't quite have as much respect for Gaara's abilities. One more thing... I think I remember reading that A used only taijutsu... but I could be wrong

Going to do my brakdown before I put up my awnser. But everyones welcome to their own oppinions.

Raikage-Gara
-weapons+ Gara can manipulate his sand into any type of weapon or shield
-=Chakra=+ I'll give it to Gara, Raiaton is weak aganst Earth style types right? Both had/have chakra levels of a tailed beast.
+Speed- not sure how much it matters but it will help Raikages taijuitsu (is almost all he has left)
= Defense= Raikage has chakra armor not sure if he can use lighting armor after he cut off his hand. Gara has his Ultimate defense and Sand Armor, but his sand isnt controlled by the shikaku anymore.

Looks like I'll give the match to Gara, Raikage would put up a good fight though. Let me know if I missed something.

Raikage is to fast for gaaras sand, just like sasuke was in their match when they was yunger.
And gaaras sand armor is to weak for raikages taijutsu

How can you say that speed doesn't matter i mean what good is any attack if you can't hit your target, yes gara has his ultimate defence and sand armor and is good at long and mid range attacks and all those things but i don't think any of those things would even come close to raikage let alone hit him beside i think that it's a fact that gara isn't good with speedy attack's so i think if they'v gone all out at the beginning i think that Gara wouldn't be able to putt up his guard on time let alone have a chance to strike, and i think it's a fact that when opponent's with similar strength fight each other the faster one wins so it's hands down for Raikage

rock lee vs gaara was my favorite naruto original series fight

lee lost because

lee was in the air charging at gaara with his fist out ready to finish his primary lotus.
lee punches gaara in the stomach sending gaara crashing into the ground.
but little did lee know that right after gaara was punched he used his sand to cushion his fall and there lee was tapped out from exhaustion of the 5th gate.
gaara went to finish lee swith his sand coffin but guy at the last second and stepped gaaras attack but because guy stepped in lee was disqualified.
and so gaara was the winner.

Gaara is just so cool sumtimes he even beats sasuke in coolness calm and composed as always...............Gaara for sure has lost the tailed beast yes but i think gaara never really used the tailed beast i mean after his encounter with naruto he tried to do everything using his own chakra and also suppressing the beast so that is not really a drawback.....
as for the raikage yes he would give a tough fight but he Gaara was made the commander general of the allied shinobi force for nothing....................SAND TSUNAMI!!!!!!!!!!!!

actually gaara has weakened since becoming kazekage as his bijuu was taken out but i think he's been training to get his sand speed back up.
