he said it was widely known that hiruzen was the strongest kage

his old age , anyone old age would lower their strength,stamina and speed

in the manga he stated lifting up enma his diamond staff was trouble for him
which indicates he did have a decrease in strength

And well throughout that fight it was stated his stamina greatly decreased

He would most likely have a max for everything because all the things he fails at in the databook is speed, strength and stamina and its in the manga that has established that if it wasnt for his old age thoe stats would be higher

Well, it is hypothetical. We don't really know how it would go or what Hiruzen would do in this battle.

hiruzen beats him... kabuto even being an assistant to oro at that time knew hokage is the strongest of all kages at that time....including raikage... moreover sarutobi can convert field to mud...which will hamper raikage's speed immediately hence A will have to be careful....no doubt A is very very powerful.... but considering that sarutobi held his ground against 1st and 2nd hokages and orochimaru...who are enough to shit anyone's pants.... he'll win with some clever plan may be some sorta quick sand no jutsu...
