So quick explanation... I send four clay worms at you while one bird is floating behind you ( 20 Meters behind you ). My clone is getting tear a parts making you and your think that you killed me while I escape with underground fish projection leaving those worms come at you.

there was no real distance mentioned for chidori nagashi and there is no such jutsu listed as chidori thunder on the jutsu site so i don't know why you mentioned that. but in theory nagashi could spread out as far as you wanted, depending on the amount of chakra used

uhm i dont think that is really necessary b/c although nagashi travels five meters it can travel five meters in every direction covering a lot more ground
plus worms move very slowly and he said they were near you so your nagashi would probably defuse them
